Sophia
Why would he say that?

Why?

The question haunted my mind so deeply. He was being nice to me. No, more than nice and then he acts like he doesn't want people to know that.

Jackson is his best friend so why did he lie to him about the conversation we just had?

As I was replaying the situation in my mind, I only thought of one thing.

That this was just another game to him.

Another stupid one of his games.

And I can't believe I let myself get involved in it. After everything. I knew I should of known.

"Soph!"

I snap out of my thoughts suddenly.

My best friend, ana, was sat there staring at me with confusion in her eyes.

"What's got u all up in your thoughts? Is it seb?"

It wasn't seb but she couldn't know that. I couldn't let someone else see the embarrassment I went through.

"Yes I'm actually excited to see him again," I say a fake smile forming on my lips.

"Well, here he is."

I look to the door of the cafeteria and see seb walking through coming straight towards our table. He's with a friend of his I'm guessing which makes me smile as he seems unbovered and happy which is good to see as one of our interactions was not the best.

"Hey Sophia," he says, "Hey ana!"

"Hey," we both say back.

Ana motions for him to sit down and he does with his friend.

His friend has brown curly hair and tanned skin which I look towards ana as I know she's checking him out. I knew this would be good for her as it would make her take her eyes off of yn who.

"So Josh is it?" Ana asks.

"Yes, I moved here a couple days ago," he says.

"Oh well I'm ana and this is Sophia." She gestures towards me.

"So Sophia," seb speaks up, " are you doing anything tonight?"

"Apart from binge watch my favourite tv shows, I'd say my evenings pretty open, how come?"

"I was wondering if u wanted to hang out, just us." I can tell he's nervous and I think it's cute.

As I'm about to reply, I see jay walk up to us.

"Sophia, can I talk to u quickly?"

"I don't think there's anything to talk about," I say, done with his games.

"Oh and seb, I'd love to hang out; just us," I say grinning.

I see jays jaw clench and I start to feel bad but that ends when I tell myself over and over again that he's just playing a game.

"Ok I'll see you at eight—"

"Sophia can u just talk to me," jay interrupts.

I nod and sigh with defeat as I know I just have to get this over with.

As we head down the corridor out of everyone's way, jay pushes me against the wall.

"Don't go out with him."

His face is stern and the anger in his eyes shows me he's not playing. His eyes are glaring into mine, not losing contact.

All of a sudden, his lips find mine.

He was kissing me!

Jay batcher was kissing me.

And I didn't pull away. I didn't want to. So instead of pushing him away, I kissed him back and he pulled me closer as I warmed up to his touch.

After a few seconds, I snapped back to reality and realised we were in school. I pushed him off me, just to see his smug face.

I knew I couldn't deal with this right now.

I stormed away, leaving jay confused. I didn't want to leave. So why did I?

Moments later, I turned around to see Jackson staring at me.

He pushes me into a closet near by and I nearly stumble with the force in the push.

Before I can say anything he speaks.

"Now Sophia, why don't u tell me what thing u have on my friend?"
