A/N: I'm kinda running out of ideas so I think I'm gonna move onto the main plot soon! Also- for the video^ I don't ship snilly but this video is like really good-

Hermione's P.O.V (Continuing from last chapter):

Draco wraps his arms around me and my arms are against his chest, I can feel his heart beating as fast as mine. He brings his hand up and traces my face as if he couldn't believe I was here, I couldn't believe it either.

It feels weird to pull away, like all the warmth in my body was evaporating. We both sit down on the sofa, he drapes his arm around my shoulders and I lean into his chest, hearing his heartbeat, I sit with my legs under me. I feel a sense of happiness and calm I haven't felt since before 4th year. I think I might have a dreamless sleep tonight.

Draco keeps running a hand down my hair, we just stay like that, neither of us says anything, until he does. "Will- do you..." He stops. I sit up on my knees and look at him. He's looking down, his brow crinkled in thought. "What is it?" I ask. He shakes his head. "Nevermind don't worry about it..." He says. "Draco..." I whisper. I turn his head to face mine. "Are you not ok with this?" I ask, gesturing between us. His mouth falls open. "What? No! I mean- Of course I'm ok with this! That's not what I was gonna say!" He cries, running a hand through his hair.

I sit and wait for him to say something. He sighs. "I just wanted to ask you something." He says looking at me, though his head is still bowed. "What?" I ask. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks looking up. I feel my mouth break into a huge grin. "Yes!" I shout and shower his face with kisses, he laughs and holds me.

Draco P.O.V:

I don't think I've ever felt this happy in my life, to have this wonderful girl in my arms is the biggest miracle ever, I never thought we'd be friends again, nevermind being a couple!

We snuggle a bit until it's time for patrols and we have to split up and check different parts of the castle. I find a few year 7s trying to sneak out for a party, all I have to do is glare at them and they run back into their common rooms. Later I find some Ravenclaw 5th and 6th years trying to sneak out to the library, I turn them away and they go away silently cursing.

After about 2 hours of this I head back, I see Mia entering the common room just as I turn the corner, she doesn't see me and goes inside. I follow behind her. I walk in and she looks up from the sofa, her face lighting up. My heart speeds up, seeing her smile always did that to me, but now that she's smiling like that at me! My heart wants to jump out of my chest.

I smile at her and walk over, taking my tie off. She gets up. "I was just waiting for you to get back before I went to bed." She says hugging me, I hug back and bury my face in the crook of her neck. I breathe her in. She smells like her, nothing you can capture, nothing you can put in a bottle, just her. Well her hair smells like strawberries but other than that it's just her.

She pulls away and gives me a quick kiss before walking upstairs and into her room, me right behind her. I walk into my room and put the silencing spells over the room. I quickly change into my pyjamas and jump into my. I haven't been this happy since I saw her on the train to Hogwarts, I was so happy and so distraught, knowing I could never be friends with her again, but now...

I drift off to sleep and for once... for once I don't dream of death and war...

Hermione's P.O.V:

I didn't dream last night, nothing, just empty blackness and that was the best I could hope for. I was happy, to say the least. I get out of bed and go through my morning routine. I get ready for school, I change into a spaghetti strap tank top and black jeans. I put on a white loose crop top that says 'I (heart shape) U', kinda like the dancers wear in movies. I then slip on boots. (A/N: Without the necklace-)

I walk out of my room and see Draco coming out of his, he's dressed in robes, I have no idea how anyone survives being dressed in those all day! He walks over to me with a smile on his face. He kisses me and we both walk down. I walk out of the room first, since no one truly knows our relationship.

I couldn't help but smile the whole way to the great hall and even when I got there I couldn't stop. "You're in a good mood." Harry notes. I just nod and get some eggs and toast. "So~ What's got you in a good mood?" Ginny asks, smirking and nudging me playfully, I blush. "Nothing." I say, my voice barely a whisper. Ginny gasps loudly and Harry and Ron look at her like she's crazy. "Oh. My. GOD!" She shrieks. "Ginny!" I shout. "Shush!" She stares at me before she grabs my arm and drags me out of the room before I have even one bite of breakfast.

She doesn't stop until we're out of the way of anyone trying to get into the hall. "Spill!" She squeals, practically jumping up and down. I giggle. "Me and Draco are together!" I say, still giggling. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! OMG OMG OMG!! EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" She squeals now, actually jumping up and down.

"I see you got the news." We both turn around to see Blaise and Draco. I raise an eyebrow. Blaise shrugs. "I'm happy for you sis." He says smiling and I grin. "But!" He turns to Draco. "If you hurt her, I will kill you, and it won't be a slow death, I will drag it out and I will enjoy your screams." Blaise menacingly. Draco was leaning back and away from Blaise.

Ginny pushes Blaise aside and faces Draco. "And he won't be alone, I'll torture you all day, I'll even use the unforgivable curse if I have to, I'll use all the crazy spells that hurt and I will use that spell that sent you to the hospital wing for weeks, I know the spell and even if I didn't Harry would tell me. You will regret being born if you so much as hurt the hair on her head." Ginny adds sinisterly.

Draco steps away from both of them, unafraid. "Please, the only person who scares me is her." He says, wrapping an arm around me and I laugh and shake my head at him. "Awwwwwwwwww SO CUTE!!" Blaise and Ginny cry. I shake my head and laugh.

We all separate and walk back into the great hall, well Ginny and I go back, Blaise and Draco already ate so they're going to class early. "What was that about?" Harry asks and Ron raises his eyebrows expectantly. I sigh. "Nothing, girl stuff." Ginny says and both boys turn away, blushing, embarrassed.

Throughout the whole day whenever Draco and I passed each other or even walked in the same hallway, Ginny would start smirking and squealing, Harry and Ron looked at her like she was insane. I saw Blaise nudging Draco and smirking while Greengrass told him to stop while Parkinson just laughed. Draco and I would roll our eyes at them exchange exasperated looks.

A/N: I know this chapter and the last few chapters have been a bit sucky and cringy but I didn't know how else to write it- 😭😭😭 See you later! (Hmm I need a cute nickname for you guys- any suggestions?)
