ℙ𝕒𝕣𝕥 𝟚𝟠: 𝔹𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖!

A/N: Last chapter for the day- It's pretty short but I have no idea what else to add, I'm not good at writing fights-

Hermione's P.O.V:

Flitwick leads all the first through to 5th years to the castle and to safety. I told him to owl the ministry as soon as he got the chance. I pull off the cloak and I turn to see that Lucius Malfoy has succeeded in what he wanted. There stands Tom Marvolo Riddle, in all his glory.

People freeze confused, but Voldemort grabs his wand from Lucius and shoots a spell, which makes everyone forget their shock. All hell breaks loose. The death eaters surround Lucius as he uses the stone to bring back more death eaters. More and more people appear in battle.

I can't see any of my friends as I start a fight with a revived death eater. I just have to hope they are safe. As soon as a death eater dies another appears in their place and the dead death eater appears not too far from where they died. I have to stop Lucius, someone has to stop Lucius.

I fight my way into the crowd and I'm suddenly throwing cruses at 5 death eaters at once. I use my wandless magic to put protection spells around every Hogwarts teacher and student I pass, which is a lot. I just hope it's enough.

I throw a spell and all 5 death eaters collapse. I don't see them reappearing anywhere nearby, some one must have gotten to Lucius. I turn and come face to face with Bellatrix Lestrange. I feel my heart rate spike and my arm starts hurting. I know I'm being irrational. My arm isn't hurting, I'm imagining it. Bellatrix smirks at me. We throw spell after spell at each other.

"Crucio!" Bellatrix cries.

"Protego! Everte Statum!" I counter.

"Expulso!" She throws.

"Catena!" (A/N: I made that up) I throw the spell right at her and she can't dodge. Her hair starts growing and turns into chains, it starts wrapping around her neck, tightening. She shrieks out and drops her wand as her hands fly to her throat. I flick my wand and it tightens even more. It keeps going until her neck snaps.

She falls to the ground with a thud. I look around, my protections worked. A lot of death eaters are on the ground, dead. Some people are still fighting. I look around trying to see if anyone needs help. I spot Draco fighting his father. Voldemort is way too close to them. He starts walking closer.

Time slows down as I run towards him, Lucius and Voldemort both fire a spell at Draco. His eyes widen when he finally sees Voldemort.

"Avada Kedavra!"

"Confringo!"

I push Draco out of the way.

"NO! HERMIONE!"

It's the last thing I hear before everything goes black.
