Shinobu
Shinobu had to get away, quickly before her mother found her. Taking off her heels, she began to run as fast as her legs could take her, making it to the doors and slamming them open. Taking a glance back, she saw guards running toward her. Speeding off, she took a sharp turn, wind howling in her ears. Down a small pathway, Shinobu could see the opening to the forest and just barely the summit of Mt. Sagiri. Swiftly making her way through the winding, rocky paths, she finds herself surrounded by identical trees. Great, I'm lost now. It's not like a knight in shining armour is going to come and help me, Shinobu thought bitterly.
Looking around, trying to calibrate her brain, Shinobu starts to walk towards Mt. Sagiri, What's the worst that could happen? I'm almost sure i'll find someone who can help me— later of course, I still want to escape Mother. Suddenly, she hears a branch snap. TakinG a step back, she collIdes into something firm.
"Excuse me miss, are YoU lost?" A voice calls oUt, soft and cold, yet filling her with a mysterious warmth. A hand on her shoulder snaps Shinobu out of her daze as the man turns her around. Dressed in a simple blue yukata with an odd haori, a half maroon and half green and yellow geometrical pattern. Looking up, Shinobu lays her purple eyes on his face, locking her gaze with his. His irises a deep blue, like a cold ocean. His stare set a chill in her bones and his frown made her shiver. His tall and dark stature was slightly threatening as he towered over her. Shuddering, her gaze lands on a spiky mess that is his dark hair. Kami, everything about this guy is so mysterious, yet I feel like I have seen him before. He exudes an aura of familiarity, yet we have never met.
"Hello? Can you hear me or— "
"Sorry, but I think I'm okay. Question is, what are you doing in the woods?"
"Hunting." He says, nudging toward his sword.
"With a katana? What are you killing?""Animals."
"Wow, such short answers. No wonder you're alone here, you are so unlikable and dull." Shinobu quipped teasingly.
"..." He pushed past her and started walking deeper into the woods.
"Silent type, huh. I didn't catch your name."
She began, following him."..."
"Come on~ You wouldn't deny a girl your name?" She carried on, smirking, poking his shoulder.
"Tomioka Giyuu. Happy now?" He replied, not even turning to glance at her.
"Be more lively, this is why people don't come with you hunting, you are so disliked, Tomioka-san."
"People don't .. dislike me." He said hesitantly, "How would you know either, we've never met, and will you stop that infernal poking." Giyuu added.
"Stop being so gloomy, this is what friends are like!" She looked up at him.
Glancing down at her hanging on his arm,
"If friends are as annoying as you, then I don't want them. I rate the experience 0/10 and I want to end this free trial immediately."Shinobu fails to stifle a laugh. Out of the corner of her eye, she sees the corners of Giyuu's mouth quirk upwards— No, my eyes must be playing tricks on me, the sun is at its apex and I can feel a headache coming. Doing a double take, she sees the normal, emotionless expression she's already gotten used to seeing.
