"I can't believe it, Lou. We're engaged." Harry put his hands on his head in disbelief. We were in our hotel room now. "We were just talking about it the other night."

"Yeah, I know. I thought of the idea first though," I pointed out, sarcastically. "I had this planned out way before we even started touring."

"When did you even have time to go buy a ring?"

"I bought it when you had your big meeting in March." Harry thought for a second.

"Wait, wasn't that the day you had your photoshoot?"

"I didn't have a photoshoot." I smirked. I had told him I had a photoshoot that day, as an alibi. "That's the day I had brunch with your folks too; to ask for their blessing."

"And I had no idea," Harry said, slowly, thoughtfully.

"I was really worried Freddie would spoil it," I told Haz. "...especially when he and Brianna went to your dressing room alone. Seems like it all worked out okay, though."

"That's why you've been so fidgety and anxious all day."

"Yeah," I admitted, loving how Harry always noticed the small things.

"You are so adorable," Harry said. I smiled, leaning into him.

"What do we do now?" I asked.

"Get married?" Harry echoed innocently.

"I'd like that," I expressed, smiling wide. A notification popped up on my phone. I reached to check it. "That was quick. Guess what." I directed at Haz.

"What?"

"I had professional photos taken and staff just sent them to me."

"Aww, Lou, you thought of everything," Harry said. I scrolled through the list of pictures I received. They all looked amazing. I showed them to Harry. He was more than satisfied.

"Wow, they look amazing."

"I know, they did a great job," I added. I continued scrolling through the file. It was filled with endless precious photos. "I'm so happy you're mine, Haz."

"I'm even happier you're mine."

"Not possible."

"Try me."

I smiled, taking in the moment.

"Best day of my life," Harry said.

"Best day of our lives," I corrected.

"C'mon, we're gonna be late," Harry hollered.

"Yeah, yeah, I know." I slipped on a coat and headed out our hotel door after Harry. Me and Harry were heading to lunch with the rest of the boys at a slightly fancy restaurant. I leaned over the balcony to see a large crowd of fans waiting at the bottom floor. It seemed like they were attached to us. Wherever we went, they followed. "Hey, guys!" I greeted the fans from over the balcony. I turned my head as I let out a cough into my sleeve. They all responded with more greetings. Harry leaned over the balcony next to me. The fans went crazy at the sight, screaming, shouting, cries of "Larry!" and "'My first real crush was Louis Tomlinson!'" I smiled, looking at Harry. He smiled too. We proceeded to the elevators, hand in hand. When we arrived on the first floor, several bodyguards led us to our designated cars, Harry and I getting seated in the same car, Liam, Niall, and Zayn in the other. The fans had gawked and cheered over us holding hands as we walked.

It took many minutes for us to get out of the hotel driveway due to the surplus of fans surrounding it. "That. was. Crazy." Harry breathed. I chuckled.

"18 Months," we said.Where stories live. Discover now
