Chapter 8: The Scientists Visit

Donnie is starting to move out of his lab a bit more and into the apartment and is caught up with some concerned and sad family members who seem to want to talk...

here's the description:

this is mainly a Donnie chapter of him just moving out and him just "talking" to his bros a bit.

sorry if this is bad but I just needed to get this chapter out of my symptom. it's been written and rewritten too many times and man this was initially supposed to be chapter 2 lol!

Donnie a couple of days after your parents came over headed back to the lair to get his things from his lab to bring to the apartment. When he got to the sewer entrance he saw Leo coming up the ladder of the sewer drain which funny enough was closer to the apartment than he initially thought.

Leo just looked at Donnie with wide eyes and his mouth open.

Donnie was confused by Leo's reaction until he looked down at his hand and he still had 5 fingers. He face palmed because he completely forgot to turn off the broach.

Donnie turned off the broach and Leo relaxed just enough for Donnie to see his shoulders go down which was a good sign.

"Nardo what are you doing"

Leo looking perplexed to say the least and also a bit curious. He just says quite quickly, "Nothing!" Grabs his sword and portals away.

Donnie thought that was completely and underlyingly weird and wanted to question further but Leo was long gone.

Donnie just shrugs and goes down the entrance and enters the lair which was rather quiet. Too quiet.

When he got down into the lair he felt eyes staring at him. Which encouraged him to speed up his pace.

He got to the lab and shut the door as quickly as when he opened it.

He headed inside and he started grabbing his stuff when their was a knock on the door.

He stopped packing boxes to check it out and found Mikey by his door with a box of pizza.

Mikey looked worried and a bit stressed. but he knew Mikey was trying to hide it with his happy demeanor and it ended up in a ultimate fail on his part.

Mikey then said, "I got some pizza Donnie if you wants some".

Donnie thinking this might be a bribe to stay plays along.

"Thanks Angelo."

Donnie takes the box and closes his door.

Mikey then leaves sluggishly and goes to the living room where all the bros are and goes and chats.

When Donnie finishes packing he starts to head out with his box of stuff. He thought he could ask for stuff for the apartment from YN if he ever needed anything since you guys were roommates after all.

Donnie started to walk into the middle of the lair to head to the entrance when he gets stopped with a anxious Raph, a worried Leo, and a almost near to tears Mikey.
