In a bright spacey basement, a man stood and labored himself to his finishing his creations. The man was none other than Professor Utonium.

Professor Utonium was a man of science, he was a lonely one at that. He had no wife nor kids, all he had was his creations and experiments. Alas, he came to the point where he couldn't take his crippling loneliness anymore.

He wanted to try something new. He wanted to create life. He wanted to create the perfect little girls. The perfect little girls that he could take care of, shower fatherly affection with, and love. He also hoped that they could take care of him as he gets old, too. Thus, he began a new experiment. Though many people would condone him as a crazy fool, the Professor couldn't care less. He then began mixing the ingredients: sugar, spice, and everything nice (plus some other components probably).

As he mindlessly mingled and stirred the ingredients together, he suddenly stumbled and crashed on some things. This caused Utonium to accidentally add two more ingredients to the mixture: Chemical X, and a radioactive spider that he had been examining. Before he could even do anything, a small yet impactful explosion made him land on the ground. Smoke seeped out from the mixture, and a cough came out from the Professor, who then looked at the explosion. As the smoke cleared, he saw three little girls. One had bright orange hair and fiery pink eyes, the other had spikey black hair and energetic green eyes, and the last had shiny blonde hair and bubbly blue eyes.

The professor couldn't believe his eyes -- his creation has worked! A few tears then leaked to the side of his eyes. The three girls looked confused about their surroundings. They looked around them, the orange-haired one then spoke up with a brittle soft voice.

"Are you...did you make us..?"

The professor looked at them, a proud smile growing on his face. Utonium then stood up carefully and slowly, not wanting to startle the young girls. He really couldn't believe what he was seeing. After all the years he spent mingling with matter and physics, this was the one that had made him astonished the most.

"Yes. Yes, I was the one who made you girls. I am your creator, your father."

The girls stood before him, their figures looked so petite. They looked to be the age of four or five. The three small children looked at the man with innocent eyes. They almost looked like little ducklings, meeting their mother for the very first time.

The professor then slowly walked closer to them. The three tensed up, the blonde took a shy step away, and the black-haired furrowed her eyebrows. The orange haired kept her stance straight as she looked straightforwardly at her creator. Utonium then knelt to them and softly spoke as he held out his arms.

"Come, let me hold you girls."

They obliged to his request, although the black-haired one hesitated at first but the blonde encouraged her. The professor held the girls in a gentle fond hug. The professor could feel himself tearing up, the moment felt warm and endearing. The girls continued to hug him as the moment went on. And thus, the Spider-puff Girls were born.

As time went on, the girls and the professor established a loving father and daughters relationship. The bubbly blue-eyed blondie was named Bubbles, the feisty green-eyed was named Buttercup, and the composed redhead was named Blossom.

Years then pass, and they began noticing that they have something that typical normal people didn't have. They had powers, powers similar to the abilities that a spider harnesses. The Professor guided the girls to control their powers, then when the time came they decided to use it for good. The three girls decided to live a life of justice. They became the known heroes of Townsville, the Spider-puff Girls.
