Wednesday lightly pulled Xavier along the narrow path. It was Tuesday, and Xavier had been there for almost a week at this point.

The Addams' had been treating him well, acting as though he was a member of the family. And he couldn't have wished for more.

It felt like an honor to be accepted into their family. He felt cared for, loved, more than he ever had with his father.

As Wednesday lightly tugged him down the narrow, winding path of the Addams' backyard forest, Xavier reminisced on what the past week had been like.

"Xavier, we're here." She softly muttered, snapping him out of his trance.

"Where exactly are we? He said, eyebrow raised.

"Family graveyard," She said with a light smile. "This is where the dead Addams' go."

He chuckled and shook his head. Of course his girlfriend would bring him to her family graveyard on a regular Tuesday morning.

"I want you to see something." She softly remarked. He nodded and let her lead him, farther back into the graveyard. They reached crumbling, old gravestones and she stopped. "There's no actual body for these, because they are so old." She pointed down to one specific gravestone, and through the crumbling words, Xavier made out the name "Goody."

"What's so special about this one?" Xavier asked her, curiosity lacing his voice.

"She's the girl from my visions last year. In the crypt, Crackstone stabbed me in the stomach. I was dying on the floor when Goody's weird spirit-thing came up and gave me life, healed all my injuries and gave me the energy to keep fighting."

"How did a dead person give you 'Life'?"

Wednesday shrugged. "I'm not sure, the logic really isn't there. But then again, we live in a world where werewolves and vampires exist. Christ, I have a pet hand!"

He laughed softly, slinging an arm over her shoulder. "You're not wrong."

"I'm never wrong."

He simple raised an eyebrow and rolled his eyes at her.

"But that's besides the point," Wednesday sighs. "She saved my life. I wouldn't be here if she didn't do what she did. I wish there was a way to repay her."

"And I am so grateful that she did." Xavier claimed, kissing her hand. "We can go to the shops tomorrow, buy some nice flowers and maybe write her a letter? It's not much, but what else is there to do for a dead person?"

She nodded slowly. "That's a good idea." She let her head fall onto his arm, too short to reach his shoulder. "I really thought that was the end, you know?" He looked down at her, his face telling her to go on. "I didn't think a dead person would come and help me live. I was there, laying alone on the floor of a crypt, an undead pilgrim wondering around, a hyde, and a psychopathic ex-teacher. There was no one, and I had a knife in a guts. I really doubted if I was gonna make it. And I was worried Xavier, about Enid, and Eugene. But you. I was worried that you were going to get hurt. I cared about you, whether it seemed like it or not. I've cared about you from the start."

She had a single tear roll down her cheek and he moved to wipe it up. "Oh Wednesday. I wish I could have been there for you, held your hand, anything. I'm sorry you had to go through that alone."

She shook her head lightly. "Don't be. You were mad at me, and had every right to be. You being here now is enough. You loving and caring for me now is enough." He kissed her forehead. "And I can't thank you enough for that."

He leaned down and kissed her. "You are everything, Wednesday. You don't need to thank me at all for being here. I would give up everything to spend every dying minute with you, Wednesday, and I'm so fucking in love with you. Never, ever even think about thanking me for loving you."

She simply nodded, burying her face in his chest, before pulling him down and sitting next to him. They watched the clouds shift and move, watched birds fly by, watched as the fiery glow of the sun stretched out in an hombre to the bright blue of the sky.

"I love you so much, Wednesday Addams."

"I love you too, Xavier Thorpe,"
