Chapter : 4

Everyone was worried for Lady Selene. Lord Aelius had already been treated and he is fine now but not really fine after seeing Lady Selene faint infront of his eyes.

Her treatment was going on from one of the best healers, the Guardians of Greens and the Guardian Flowers, Lord Sage and Lady Bloom were trying their best to awake Lady Selene up but seems like they were failing at it.

Lord Aelius was pacing back and forth, He had tears brimming in his eyes, sweat beads on his to forehead, hands shivering which were covered in bandages.

Everyone had the almost same condition but the worst condition was of the Head. Never in his whole life experience, he was so tensed. He was suffering because one of his precious guardian-no, her daughter was going through so much and he was not able to do anything. The old man hated it, he hated it to be there, helpless that he couldn't even help his pearl like precious daughter.

Lady Selene was the youngest among everyone so she has got a soft corner for herself in the Head's heart who was nothing but a father figure to her.

The Head was being drowned in his own thoughts. He felt like someone was shoving him in the water and no matter how much he tried, he couldn't come out of his thoughts that were engulfing him. His face turned pale, his eyes shone because of tears and before he knew a lone fear escaped eyes as he gulped to swallow down the lump formed in his dry throat.

Lady Marissa's POV:

I tried everything to save Lady Selene, but nothing worked. My eyes couldn't help themself but get watered. I cried in pain seeing the condition of Lady Selene.

She has been loved by everyone as she is the youngest among us. From childhood, she was the adorable guardian we've ever known. Even the Head had a special place for Selene in his heart

How Selene used to trouble me and Lord Sage with her cute antics?and how she always use to get away from it?

A painful smile broke on my lips as I remembered about the beautiful memories.

I hope our little Selene gets better.

Many hours had passed, yet Lady Selene still didn't woke up. Lord Sage and Lady Bloom did everything they can but it was of no use.

Lady Selene was not ready to move at all. She was just lying in a bed with blankets having floral prints reaching up to her torso, hairs scattered around the pillow. Her left hand resting on her stomach while laying her right hand on atop of her left hand.

Lady Bloom again went in the room to check Lady Selene but she was same as before. Lady Bloom sadly looked at the lying figure on the majestic bed and took a deep breath. She can hardly put her words together yet she spoke in wobbly voice warning that she'll break down any moment now, "S-Selene are you l-listening? Wake up now, I- love. Everyones s-scared to lose you. Y-Youre precious to us, s-sweetie please wake up, you've h-had enough rest" and she broke down.

Lady Bloom put a hand on her mouth when tears flowed from her eyes that she was unable to control. She ran outside only to get bumped with the Head.

The Old Man immediately asked her "H- How's she? How's my c-child? Lady Bloom gulped for two to three times and spoke in a trembling voice "S-She's not responding!"

The Head fell to his knees after listening that his daughter, his precious daughter is not responding. He cursed himself for not reaching at the ground early. He blamed himself that from whatever the lady is going through, it is his fault, He cried hysterically. The other guardians supported him but was of no use as they couldn't stop tearing up after seeing their head, the old man cry for their Selene.

Soon after, a glass crack was heard from the room in which Lady Selene was kept in. But because of the all the crying no one could hear it properly.

But Lady Marissa heard it as she was near to the door and went in only to see Lady Selene mumbling something as if she's trying to call someone to help her. When Lady Marissa got closer she heard Lady Selene say "Father, help me...!" continuously as the latter squealed in happiness.

Because of Lady Marissa's squeal every guardian rushed in. Lady Bloom and Lord Sage checked Lady Selene and spoke "She's moving! She's getting better!" As soon as the head heard it he went towards Selene and sat on his knees while holding Selene's hand so tightly that if he left her hand she would go away.

The old man spoke "S-Selene wake up, dear. S-See who's here. Wake up now, S-Sel." The guardians smiled at seeing the head calling Selene so lovingly. Like she is the only thing he wants to protect.

Selene moved her fingers and placed it on the heads hand. The head immediately looked up at Selene to see her in the same position as she was but now she was trying to open her eyelids.

The head brought his left palm and placed it on Selene's hand he held her soft cotton like hand tightly between his rough wrinkled ones.

Lady Selene had already woken up and now she is better than before. Everyone got to work as they weren't working when Selene was not well.

               Lord Aelius' POV:

Finally Lady Selene has woken up. My heart felt like it would come out any moment soon after seeing Lady Selene faint infront of my eyes. I was worried to death. I thought I'll lose her.

The head was more tensed than me never in my whole life I've seen him cry this much. Now that I think about it, Lady Selene does have a great impact on us as she's the youngest among us.

I still remember when we were kids, Lady Selene and I used to do many mischiefs and always used to get away from it. 

I am inlove with her. I don't ever want to lose her. I can't imagine my future without her.

She's the star that illuminates my life.
Whenever she's close to me I feel my heart beat so fast that it'll almost come out. I feel nervous around her. And whenever I see her with any male guardian my blood boils. I hate it when she gets close to someone else than me.

But I also love it when she stutters around me. I love how my impact makes her so nervous.

I love her, I really really love her. I want to spend my present and my future on her.

But do she loves me like the way I do? Does her heart aches like mine when I don't see her?

I want to be with her even if others don't accept me. I'm in love with her and I'll do anything to make her mine even if it means to get disowned by the Guardians.
