Jackie and Dekota walked past all the desk and workers filling the rooms of the office before knocking on a door.

"Come in." A voice proclaimed

The two went into the dim room where yet another woman is seen leaning over a table overlooking spread out sheets of paper.

The Secret Kiwi, Aroha

The lightly tanned skinned woman with black hair and brown eyes, wearing an olive green jacket and green tie with matching pants, black boots, and a leather belt with brass buckles. All with a moko kauae tattoo on her chin giving the menacing look she became infamous for.

"Jackie" She spoke

"Aroha. What do you got for me? Is our lovely salty neighbor trying to do something?"

"For once no. Come see."

Jackie walked around the table and looked over it. It was decorated with scattered pictures, maps, and documents with enough information to crash a server.

"Alright, you got a bunch of pictures and maps. What are they about exactly?"

Aroha reached out and grabbed a few pictures and put them in front of her. It showed a large complex hidden dotted among the forest.

"Here. During a training flight a Golden Eagle noted a new building amongst the tree line and took note of the location. After landing, refueling, and loading up a target pod it managed to take a few pictures before getting a warning from the RWR and leaving. Seems to be a lab of sorts. Estimates about seven-aught-seven thousand cubic meters. Possibly defended by Surface-to-Air, but no pictures show any RADAR."

"Pretty big lab just to pop up out of nowhere. With a defense system too?"

"That's why we took the pictures."

"So what do you say?"

"Ether this is just a sudden new lab built by our neighbor as a surprise gift prepackaged with things they don't even know how to work, or someone else built a lab in secret and it's being used for some sort of nefarious work that they want kept defended. Take your pick."

"Latter. Our neighbors can barely manage a smoke alarm, RADAR is not gonna be their thing."

Aroha nodded and stood up.

"Then what do you wanna do, Kiwi?"

"Well, we ether sit back and see what they do, hoping that it's really just a candy factory testing some Willy Wonka-esque candy, or go ahead to get someone in and find out before something horrible happens."

"Latter, again."

"Yes ma'am. I'll be planning a way in as soon as I can."

"Do you want me to alert the others?"

"Hold off for now. Keep this under. I'll mess with them when the time needs it."

"Got it. Is that all?"

"Well,"

"Oh?" The cat responded with her ears perking. "Do tell."

"Just someone we're monitoring in that old agency in The Black Lands."

"Oh you know how to peak a girl's interest."

"Well, keep them peaked. It's nothing substantial yet. Just an eye on a potential ally within their ranks."

"Talk so much game, better not end up being a dog or something."

"It isn't. Though I may find a cat for you." She chuckled

"Is that all you had for me?"

"For now."

"Stay safe then Kiwi."

"No promises. Oh, what colour you want your cat?"

She just stared at her before leaving the room and starting back out followed by Dekota.

"So," Jackie piped, "What do you think Dekota?"

"It is interesting. Hopefully it is just a lab and not something used to manufacture biological weapons."

"Yeah but what candy factory has a RADAR watching the skies?"

"A secret one."

The blank look continued as the two left the building and back down the street.

"What's next?" Jackie asked stretching

"I have nothing."

"I mean, we could go talk to our neighbor about it. A little impromptu meeting. Make sure it really isn't her's."

"If you think it's necessary."

"Better than being stuck in an office all day. Call Abby, we're gonna fly through some smog."

"On it."

"Weiss too, god knows I'll probably need a doctor when I get back."

"That too."
