The Helicopter landed on it's pad and turned off before opening the door and letting the three out.
Before them laid a massive building surrounded smaller buildings with the front reading "SECURED CONTAINMENT CENTER" along with a flag flying high above it looking like a Pokéball.
"Welcome to my home and workplace." Marie said happily, "This is where we contain people or creatures with unique powers and try to study them."
"What kind of powers?" Alex asked.
"You'll see~"
That wasn't a good response from her.
"Now come on. I'll tour you around while they get Kaitlyn accustomed to her new room."
Marie led the group into the big building and through a small check point using a black card she had.
They stopped in front of two guards who seemed to be waiting.
"Ma'am." They said
"Both of you, take 'ought thirty eight to her room. Third floor."
"Yes ma'am."
"Thirty Eight?" Alex asked
"Oh, so we keep track of all the creatures here numerically. So she's the thirty eighth to be entered so she's officially referred to as 'ought thirty eight, or 'o thirty eight' if you wanna be different."
The two guards approached Kaitlyn.
"Hold on." Alex said, "Ms. Yuan, can the maid go with? She's her caretaker."
"Yeah, sure. If it'll make her more comfortable then go ahead."
The two guards escorted the kid and maid away as Marie turned on her heels to face Alex.
"Alright, so you ready for a tour?"
"Sure."
"Sweet."
Marie walked towards a door with the label reading:
001: Marie Yuan.
Class - Full Safe.
Power(s) - Absolute Telekinesis, Visual memory and mind reading, Telepathic speaking, and Sensory inducement.
"Wait, this is you." Alex realized. "So you were speaking in my head!"
"Yep~" Marie said smugly. "I can read your thoughts, see your memories, speak in your head, and make you feel emotions. All with my mind."
"Freaky."
"Yep." She said raised his jacket off him with her mind.
"Enough." Alex said jumping up and grabbing it back.
"Fine fine."
Marie walked off and stopped before another door. This one read:
002: Alice Nigel
Class - Partial Safe
Power(s): Hybridization (Fat tail Scorpion)
"This," Marie said, "Is my girlfriend. Alice."
"Cool."
"Now I would show you to her but she kinda lives in a dessert and tends to try and eat people."
"Yeah I'm good."
"Thought so."
She would start walking back down the hall, skipping a door and stopping at the next one.
