The room was dark as the giant screen on the wall showed the speech Black Heart made that morning.
The lights turned back on reveling the table of Majors.
Jackie at the head, Dekota, Becky, Sasha, Weiss, Aroha, but also some new ones.
One was a light-skinned woman with long light brown hair and dark caramel brown eyes. Wearing a black undershirt with an old B3 bomber jacket with squadron emblems on the back and rank marks on each arm.
High General of Kamno Air Force, Abby Youngstend.
To her side was another light-skinned woman with long dark brown hair and brown eyes wearing a full British naval dress uniform.
High Admiral of the Navy, Katherine De La Fontaine.
Across from them was a lightly tanned skinned woman with long black hair and black eyes. She wore a British-like tan dress uniform.
High General of Kamno Army, Bennu Mostafa.
Finally at the end of the table sat the only man in Kamno. Slightly tanned skin with short black hair and black eyes. He was wearing a dark uniform with scars lining one of his arms.
Major Officer of The Engineer Corps, Max Graf.
These women and man were the main officers of Kamno's military.
Jackie stood from her chair.
"So," She said looking over the table, "I hope you all understand what this means."
They all nodded.
"Good. Because as it stands now we're not exactly going to be exchanging Christmas cards with our neighbor. Hopefully she'll see how idiotic this is and calm down. But if not, Katherine, how are the P-12s going?"
"Well," Katherine said under her Franco-Anglo accent, "They are all being put to highest priority by the dockworkers. Besides the work needed to keep the dock running obviously."
Max raised his hand to take attention.
"As well," He said with his thick Germanic accent, "Unassigned men and women of the E.C. have been ordered to assist in the building of the ships as well."
"Right," Katherine chimed back in, "These new measures has sped up the final touches to be finished in two days."
"Good." Jackie said sighing, "Bennu, anyway you can speed up trainings on the new vehicles?"
"Yes ma'am" She said with her Arab sting, "Training for the СБТ-11s has already completed. Just the C-155 and Т-Трусікs remain. Both of which are nearing the end of their programs. Should finish by next week but they are ready for combat if needed."
"Good thing we replaced the old Т-КОТs then. Abby, what about the skies?"
"All's fine." Abby said with a southern twang, "I've set our readiness to stage three so we have fifteen flights ready at a moment's notices to take off for ether interception or ground strike missions."
"That'll allow us some breathing room incase she takes this farther. Sasha, how's your projects?"
"Armor is done, though a certain someone took a lot of my girls to go help build ships."
Sasha stared at the end of the table as Max just shrugged.
"Don't start." Jackie ordered making Sasha look back. "For now that is all. Get some sleep and we'll start tomorrow."
They all nodded before standing up and walking out of the room. Jackie just sighed and sat in her chair.
"You alright?" Dekota asked walking over.
"Mostly. Just annoyed mostly."
"Fair."
"'Fair' says the woman with no emotions."
"Fair."
Jackie just looked at her before smirking.
"Can't get mad at you for long."
"That's a good thing."
"I guess so. Just hoping that she gives up on this stupid claim and we don't have to start a war."
"Black Heart is a confusing person to understand."
Jackie chuckled to herself
"That's an understatement Dekota. I've been dealing with her for a few years now and I still don't even understand what kind of food she likes!"
"Hey, at least her boyfriend is easy to read."
"She has a boyfriend?" Jackie said with her ears perking.
"Well, it's her sister's but I have reason to suspect it's a incomplete triangle."
"I would say what a lucky guy but if I had to deal with her constantly I'd just throw myself into the channel."
"You do know the kid who came to your office about Kaitlyn was him, right?"
"That was him? Great, neighbor's a vyčvareniec."
"Even in stressful times you like to poke at her."
"It's called humor Dekota, you should get one."
"If it means gaining the same things as you did during the hybridization then I am good."
"You're the one who talked me into it then got the wrong stuff!"
"Eh."
"What you mean 'Eh'!?"
"Eh."
"Come here, I'm going to rip you apart."
