Chapter 3- Sulking

Jed's POV

I stood there wondering what just happened. I didn't even try to call him back. I walked back to The West and stayed there. I sat in a high tree wondering, 'Do I like him?'

I had a mental war with myself until I decided. Yes. I do like him. I looked at the clock. It was still only 3:15. Plenty of time to talk to the Roman General.

I walked over to Rome and looked at a giant building. I asked a girl who introduced herself as Leia, if she knew where Octavius was.

"In his chambers." She said hesitantly.

"Thank you." I said quietly.

She led me into the building towards a room. "Just knock." She whispered.

She hurried off and I knocked on the door. "Come in, it's open." was the response.

I walked into the room, locking the door behind me so Octavius couldn't leave during the middle of our conversation. He was sitting in the corner of the room facing the wall. "Hello servant. Just leave my meal on the bed. I shall eat it later." Octavius said.

I hesitated. "What are you doing Tavi?" I asked him. He slowly turned around.

"J-Jedediah Smith! Why are you in my chambers!" Octavius exclaimed.

"I don't know Octavius Agustus Ceaser, why'd you run off like that?" I asked, starting to get mad.

I took a deep breath. I wasn't gonna blow up in front of Tavi.

I calmly walked over to the soldier. I lifted his chin...

Octavius's POV

He leaned closer to me. And kissed me. I stood there stunned. He broke the kiss and smiled at me. "Does that tell you anything Toy Soldier?" He asked.

"I-I-" I didn't say anything else. I just grabbed his face and kissed him back happily.

"I love you. No matter how much we fight. I've always loved you. I just may have not noticed till now." Jedediah said.

"I-I never wanted to fight you. I just needed a distraction from my attraction towards you, Jedediah." I said.

"It's almost sunrise. I really should get back to my display." He whispered.

"What about Larry? Isn't he still with Ahk?" I asked.

"Yeah, probably. I really should go though Tavi." Jed said.

He kissed my forehead. "Bye, Toy Soldier~" He whispered as he walked out of the room.
