Jed's POV
It was worse than Octavius or I could think of. I mean two men, from different time periods, in love? What the hell?
Like that would ever happen to anyone else! Larry was pressed against the wall making out with Ahk.
Ahem! I coughed. My cough echoed in the room. Larry and Ahk pulled away and looked around.
"Down here Gigantor!" I yelled.
They both looked down. Ahk was blushing lightly while Larry's face was red as a tomato.
"I thought you were not the romantic type Larry." Octavius said.
"I-I was just teaching Ahk the principles of umm love...." Larry blushed.
"Sure you were Gigantor, we'll leave you two alone but just gonna remind ya, you got a museum to run Gigantor." I said.
Octavius and I walked out of the area. "Heh. Did you even believe them? I mean, sure, two men, from different time periods, in love does sound a bit crazy, but they are together." I said, crossing my two fingers together to show Octavius.
He paused for a moment. "Yeah, crazy..."
Octavius's POV
Was it all that crazy? What if I were to tell someone that I liked a man from a different time period. Would they call me crazy?
"Yeah, crazy..." I replied.
"What are you thinking about?" Jedediah asked me.
"I-Uh-Well-Nothing." I stuttered.
I couldn't tell the tiny cowboy. The one I wanted to love.
"You seem pretty deep in thought." Jed insisted.
"It's not crazy. For I love a man of a different time period as well." I blurted.
"Really?" He asked me. "Who."
"Someone who I've known for a long time. Someone I fight with frequently." I said, making it pretty obvious.
"Is it me Octavius?" Jed asked.
"Y-Yes." I said, afraid of what his next reaction would be.
He didn't say anything. I started to walk off, knowing that the next place I would go would be my chambers to sulk.
"Tavi!" Jed called from behind me.
I kept walking, knowing he would be mocking me.
"Octavius!" He called once again.
I turned around to face him. "Go ahead, make fun of me. It's obvious you don't like me the same way. Forget being partners. I'm understanding that you don't want to be friends with a "gay" man. It's so normal in our culture for a man to love a man. Americans are just so stereotypical!" I turned back around, my cape flowing behind me, and stomped off.
