Kings Landing was experiencing one of the worst storms they had had for years. The wind howled, making the frames on windows shake inside the Red Keep. Princess Rhaenyra's screams could be heard throughout the halls. She was in labor, her husband Daemon forced outside by her from a few vulgar words she said. When she went into labor The storm started. The maesters talked amongst themselves, along with a few maids, about the awful weather. When a certain man said it was probably because of the child and she was cursed, Daemon was having none of it. He already punched a maester. He wouldn't let anyone speak badly on his wife and child. He already knew these rumors came from Otto Hightower, trying to undermine his wife and now child. Another scream rung in everyone's ears. Daemon looked at his brother. He was in shock, just staring outside at the storm. One very loud scream was heard and a baby crying traveled through walls.

A midwife came out of the room to bring Daemon in. Once he was inside, he saw his wife sweaty, holding a baby.

"It's a girl, my prince and princess."

Rhaenyra was smiling, and Daemon walked over, seeing their baby. She was beautiful. She was so small. Rhaenyra felt the same way, not tearing her eyes away from their child. Rhaenyra handed her to him. He was afraid he would crush her by accident. She yawned and threw her arms up.

"I guess we should name her," Rhaenyra laughed at her husband. He stared at his daughter.

"Alysanne, I think," Rhaenyra nods in agreement. "Yeah, Alysanne sounds nice." They both realized the storm had gone down. Otto definitely would try to use this against them.

Rhaenyra and a midwife took care of afterbirth, and their daughter was taken from him and cleaned. He stood there, watched both of them, smiling like an idiot. He knew he would have to let his brother and cunt of a wife in soon enough, but not yet. He got to spend time alone with both of them.
