It's been a year since I met Arjun. I last saw him when he came to order the bouquets. I asked Ashwin about him, he told me he transferred to another state because of personal reasons. I wasn't able to tell my feelings to him. At the same time, this stupid heart always thinks about him. Am I going mad?, What in the world is happening to me? On one side I rejected my dream college and on the other side, my shop was going bankrupt. 

Why does this Arjun mess up my mind even during this time? Oh god. I need to fix my life, it's high time now. Eshwara! ena en ipadi sodhikra. (Lord Shiva! Why are you testing me)

'Meera just go and prepare coffee its already 6.00 AM' I mumbled. Now I am taking my coffee to my terrace while watching the sunrise. I always dream about Arjun like he prepares me a cup of coffee and we drink while watching the sunrise. But I am beginning to think about if this ever gonna be true or not.

My phone rings while disturbing my thoughts, it's Maya, my bestfriend who is getting married in a week.

"Hey, Meera. How are you? " My friend Maya asked me.

"I am doing good. Why are you calling this early?" 

"Just I wanted to ask Are you okay with going double date with me" she asked.

"What I think I misheard it" I replied

"Yeah, you heard right. I am asking if are you available today for a double date"

"Hey, how many times have I told you my boyfriend is out of station", I replied. She always wanted me to date her brother Rakshith, he had a crush on me while we were studying college. He proposed to me after finishing college. I politely rejected him by saying I was in love with someone and that someone was ACP Arjun. He and my friends don't believe me. After that day, Arjun dropped me at my house after investigation, I mistakenly took his kappau ( Bracelet which has his name craved) During the car ride, I didn't even touch his things but that bracelet ended up in my bag.

I only realised this the next evening, the evening that I planned to propose to him. He didn't come there and I didn't give it to him.

So, I use that bracelet as a love token which was given by Arjun to me as a promise bracelet. I only know about the promise ring but I didn't even hear about the promise bracelet. But, I made them believe me and asked them to keep it a secret till Arjun relocated to this place. I didn't wanna take the risk, that this news reached his friends and him. He will think of me as low when this type of news reaches him. I don't want my little love bubble broken at least for now. I want to keep this as my little secret. From that day onwards I am wearing his bracelet.

But, this Rakshith doesn't understand the meaning, I didn't know how to stop him. He is still pestering me.

"I am not available. I need to clean my house for Karthikai Deepam." I replied.

"OH, don't give excuses like this. If that Arjun loves you he at least came and saw you just once right? He doesn't visit you during any of the festivals even during your birthday. Who are you planning to cheat? me or you? I know about your little stunt. You are lying to us about Arjun. "

"NO, What... What_-"

"Just let me speak today Meera. Are you thinking the world is revolving around you? How many times my Anna(Brother) needs to beg you? He loves you truly. What does my brother lack? he is handsome, successful and the only heir of Aditya groups"

"He has everything that doesn't mean I need to love him. I will call you later, I have work now. Bye," I replied.
