Her daughter: Anaya ( married to Arjun's brother)

Meera's family

Meera's PoV:

While the sun's rays began to show brightly, I asked Arjun
" Arjun can we speak"

" Meera, why are you asking for permission? You can talk to me freely whenever you want" he uttered while carelessly playing with my palm.

Before I began, he inspected my palm which I injured last month.
I said, " Arjun it's completely healed and it's just the scar"
He featherly touched my scar on the wrist.
''I forgot it after the incident that happened at home" his voice laced with worry.

" it healed in 3 days, why are you behaving like I had sutures" I laughed at him.

"you are too good to me Meera. We were in this relationship for a month. In these months I didn't spend my time with you. Sorry, Meera. I even forgot about your injury" he uttered and sat on the floor

" Arjun you always make time to meet me why are worrying too much," I said while massaging his temple

He leaned in my touch and spoke out, "What do you want to talk about? "

" Does your family accept this marriage, I mean you said about marrying me " I hesitated a bit

He looked at me and said, " Meera yes my mother accepted it. "

"what about your father and your family? "

"Their consent is also important. If we want to live happily, their permission is much needed" I voiced out my thoughts.

"Meera my father also agreed, but-"

"what Arjun? " I asked.

He hesitantly said, "We can get married but my father said he will not allow me to come as he promised me with his friend's daughter"

He continued, " My mother said you travelled with me and stayed with me. It's inappropriate if she opposed our relationship. After I told her about marrying you she urged me to marry you faster. "

"I didn't give much thought about my sibling's opinions. As they got married with their love of life. When it comes to me they made me stand on their tune. "

" Arjun are you okay with their decision " I whispered

He gently held my face and he hushed, " Meera I know it's complicated, but trust me it will get better. It's my father's way of mending things. He didn't want to fail his friend's promise that's why"

" Arjun, what will happen if it does not succeed they are your family how can you leave them for me," I asked
