Confession

"Hey, Meera don't tell me that Ashwin doesn't tell about that engagement thing is fake" Arjun sighed.

"He already told me. But I want to hear it from you" I glared at him.

"Meera, she is not the one I planned to engage. My parents wanted to marry me to my sister in laws sister. But I say no to them", Arjun pleadingly looked at me.

" but, it feels like I am snatching you from that girl. It also makes me feel like I gave mixed signals to Raksith. "

"the words they said to me, that day makes me ------. " I continued
My voice began to crack, he held my hand and squeezed it reassuringly.

"They told me I am with another man, they told me I am with Ash-. I can't able to think like that" My eyes brimmed with tears.
He came and sat next to me, he wiped my tears before taking my hands in his.

"Meera, I didn't know when I fell for you, but now you are the only one for me" his eyes held mine.

"you are my hope, you are my lifeline, Meera. It may seem like cringe. But the reality is this," he pointed his hand between us.
"Whatever happens it ends with you and me only"
" Believe me, Meera, I will wait for you 1 year, 5 years may be an eternity too" his voice laced with hope, longing and promise.

"Arjun, sorry for making you -" he cutter me off by placing his forefinger on my lips.

"Have your coffee? " he said.
"don't say sorry or anything. I know what are you feeling. It's okay. You can say anything whatever you feel. I will be there, for you till my last break-"

I pinched him on his side.
"Ah,  ah, Meera it hurts" he yelped.
The people who sat near our table eyed us, and some glared at us.

"Sorry, you guys carry on,  carry on", Arjun said.

" Another negative word from you, I will break your legs," I said to him
Arjun chuckled lightly. He looked heavenly, the sun rays hit his face and gave a heavenly aura around him."

I sipped coffee and then I saw that his eyes were fully focused on me.

I asked him " Hey Mister why are you looking at me?"
"you are the one who has been keeping eyes on me for nearly 10 minutes," he smirked at me.

" Man, you wish" I ignored it and continued to sip my coffee. How does this cup have so much coffee?is this some magic, I thought and began to drink.

" Meera, you are drinking my coffee," he said.

" What?  " I asked him.

He placed his head on his fist and said" You are drinking my coffee"

" I am drinking --- "

"yes you are drinking mine," he said and took my coffee.
He brought it and sipped it. 
" It's sweet, the bitter coffee became sweet after you drank, it" he said

Then I saw, oh God why am embarrassing myself? Why do I need to do that in front of him all the time?

I maintain a nonchalant look on my face.
He gave me a teasing look and said, "You left me only 3 sips". I smiled at him.

He looked at me with a full-blown smile. I wanted to freeze this whole moment.
We left after paying the bill. While leaving the lady who served us, gave me a wink and mouthed 'You two look good together'.
I gave her a thumbs-up sign.
" Hey, why are you showing thumbs up" Arjun asked
Just I feel like showing a thumbs-up.
He said " Whatever? "
With that, we reached the bus stop.
We took the next bus and reached our place.
He asked for my phone. I gave it to him.
"password" he gave the phone to me.
I can say the password. You can type it.
" Meera I know we were in a relationship, but it doesn't mean we need to say each and everything"
"And first I can share everything with you,  but you are having doubts regarding our relationship "
He continued" Whenever you feel right, okay.  We can take further steps, and till that time we can be whatever you say okay. " he said.
I smiled at him and he left me near the gate
" Do I need to go? " I asked him.
" do you want to stay? " he questioned
" yes,"  I replied.
" then you need to talk to my mom," he said.
" for what? "
"for marrying me," he said.
I blushed at the thought of marrying him.
"Don't stand here. It's become sunny, go and take a rest. ''he ruffled my hair.
I smiled at him.
" what will you eat for lunch?  " I asked.
" We didn't even have breakfast, you are asking about lunch " he questioned.
"It's already 11:00 AM how will you eat lunch? " I muttered.
" your food will be on your doorstep within 15 minutes", Arjun said happily.

Within 15 minutes he brought the breakfast. Before I asked him to join, he left after telling me that he had an important letter to submit to his superior officials.
I got a call from Ash
" hey did you forget your friend in a day? " he fake cried.
" don't you have duties at this hour? " I asked.
" I need to leave in 15 minutes, before that I called you to inform you about the plus one," he said.
" don't you dare to say no after you got committed" he whined.  He is an absolute baby, sometimes I wonder how this guy scared me at our first meeting.
" yeah,  I will be there. " I said.
"When your lover boy comes, what will you do? " he teased me.
" I will tell him you asked me first,  he will understand me," I said.
"Okay, Meera,  bye. I will text you later" With that he ended the call.
I ate the breakfast and washed the utensils.
Then I heard the windows opening and closing sound.
I went and checked what was happening there.
But the scenery there stood me dumbfounded.
There I saw the crimson-red thing flowing through the whole room.
Then I realised what's that it seems like blood.
