Pokemon: New Journeys

Granola Regional Champion

It was a nice day in the new Region of Granola. Home to some of the best trainers and best Pokemon you could ever find there. Nothing new but it was a great place for one to come vacation in. But today is not a day for vacation because it is Championship Day and the lucky Pokemon Trainer is going up against the 5 time winning Champion of the Granola Region.

"We here at the Granola Regional Tournament would like to thank everyone who is here to see the winner of the Tournament to go up against the 5 time Winning Champion. Today's match up will be a 1 v. 1 match up. Both contestants will choose one of their Pokemon to represent. Let's go to our contestants now!" The guy in the intercom shouted while everyone in the stands of the Ring were cheating loudly.

"Over here in our right side, Is the winner of the Granola Pokken Tournament. He's A Young Trainer who lives in a small village and is one of the few lucky ones to be called a Pokemon Trainer! Please give a big welcome to Jamal! And his Partner, Pichu!" The guy said before a guy in a Green Jacket and black and grey beats came to the stand. This was Jamal.

Everyone cheered for him and his adorable little Pokemon as they made it this far with and was ready to go past their limits in this battle. Especially the parents or parent of Jamal, his mother shouting "THAT'S MY SON!" or "I LOVE YOU SWEETY!" This made Jamal blush and gave a soft wave at her direction. Even though he couldn't find her in the stands, her voice he would not forget.

"And to our left side of the ring, You know him! He is the king of Music and is a 5 Time Champion of Granola. Maybe 6 if he wins! Please give your biggest cheers and loudest roars too....DEE JAY AND HIS PARTNER HITMONCHAN!" He shouted as even more Roars could be heard and it was much louder as everyone seemed to be a fan of Dee Jay.

And his famous Pokemon Hitmonchan

Music began to play as it seems that Dee Jay prepared a song to declare his victory and another win in his belt.

Everyone started singing his song and cheering for him while Jamal and Pichu looked at each other, lost to why people were singing his song.
"Crazy. Am I right?" He said.
"Pii." The Pichu replied before Dee Jay and Hitmonchan faced Jamal and Pichu.

"So kid, you ready to lose?" Dee asked which made Jamal huff a bit before responding.
"As if, you'll be the one who will lose!"
"Piiichu!"

"Seems like we got competition Hitmon." Dee said to his Pokemon who simply pumped his fist in the air and then had on of his fist facing Pichu.
"Well it seems our contestants are more than ready so without further Ado, LET THE MATCH BEGAN!" The announcer shouted and both Pokemon ran to each other, clashing their heads. Soon they gain enough distance and waited for their orders.

"Hitmonchan! Use Bullet Punch!" Dee Jay shouted and the Fighting Type Pokemon began to charge at Pichu ready to hit him.
"Quickly Dodge the punch and use Thunder Wave!" Jamal said as Pichu nodded charging also at Hitmonchan. At the very last second when Hitmonchan was about to strike Pichu, the little mouse Pokemon dodged it and sparks began to form from his cheeks as he was gonna fire his Thunder Wave. Dee Jay seeing this was bad decided to make Hitmonchan attack Pichu before it even has the chance to attack.
"Quick! Use Mach-Punch to make him dizzy!" Dee said and Hitmonchan did exactly that; hitting Pichu but not making him dizzy.

"Pichu! Are you okay?" Jamal said as he was concerned for his Pokemon. Pichu got back up and nodded his head getting ready to fight again.
"Alright, We'll save the Thunder moves for later, Try and tire him out with Swift!" Jamal said and Pichu nodded moving really fast even Hitmonchan was having a hard time figuring out where he was gonna strike. But when he did or so he thought, he would be flailing his arms around trying to strike him.
"Hitmonchan, Use Counter!" Dee Jay shouted now seeing that Pichu was gonna try and attack him head on and if he did, Hitmonchan could counter and leave a deadly blow to the little mouse Pokemon. Pichu saw and opening and began to bounce off the wall of the ring before charging at Hitmonchan full speed. Hitmonchan sees him and gets ready to counter his head on collision.
"Now Pichu!" Jamal said as he shouted and the Pichu used his head to attack Hitmonchan with a powerful Tackle move. But thanks to Hitmonchan's counter, he pushed him off a bit before delivering the final blow. But something was off. He couldn't move after charging his punch. Pichu then rebounded from th push before showing that his cheeks had sparks on them.

"Ayo what the hell?" Dee said as he plus the audience were shocked.
"Hehehe We gotcha! Now time to finish this Pichu!" Jamal shouted before pointing at the fighting type Pokemon.
"Use Thunder Flash!" He said and the Pichu began to engulf himself in lightning and charge at the Hitmonchan's body and going through it. He did this for three more times before he stopped and landed on his feet. Once his foot touched the ground, a bunch of electricity began to form and shock the punching Pokemon making him scream in pain before passing out and being unconscious. Dee Jay went on his knees as he saw that Jamal had defeated him. And so we're the Audience as they were shocked to see a Pichu use a High level move like that without going through an Evolution.

"U-Unbelievable.... Dee Jay's Hitmonchan...just Got the...SHOCK OF HIS LIFE!" The Announcer said before everyone began to shout in cheers and claps.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMAN! GIVE IT UP FOR YOUR NEW CHAMPION OF THE GRANOLA REGIONAL TOURNAMENT! JAMAL AND HIS PARTNER PICHU!"
Everyone cheered even more and clapped for him. Pichu soon jumped into Jamal's arms and began to nuzzle his shirt while cooing. He chuckled and rubbed his ears before he saw Dee Jay go to him to give him a hand shake and Jamal returned the favor and they shooked hands to show sign of a good competition.
