"Sadie!" I screamed at my annoying little sister. Sadie continued to run down the stairs. "What is going on here?" Mom yelled as she noticed us. "Sadie is planning on wearing my top to school today!" I said annoyed as both me and my sister stopped in our tracks. "It's just a top, you're so dramatic!" Sadie said. "Sadie! Give your sister her top back. I do not have time for this, I have to leave in five minutes!" Mom screamed at my sister. "Fine. But only if Becca can come over after school." My sister replied. "Ugh. So not going to happen, Faye and Brook are coming over." I argued. "Everyone can come alright! Sadie go change!"Mom stated. "Ugh," my sister and I both signed. There had been a few weeks since Hunter and I broke up. People at school didn't really care anymore. They were more interested in the party I was throwing. "Saturday is going to be so fun Summer!" A cheerleader at our lunch table said. "Yeah, Summer. You are home alone right?" Another cheerleader added. "Yeah, my mom is going on a girls' trip to a cabin somewhere. And I'll just look Sadie in her room or something." I laughed. I hadn't invited that many people but I just knew that the cheerleaders were going to bring a lot of people. I wasn't nervous about throwing a party, I'd done it before, but Sadie was getting older and she'd probably blackmail me or something. "Yeah, me Faye and Brook are going to plan the party today at my place." I smiled at the girls. "Omg Summer me and Sebastian have plans today I can't!" Faye told me. "Same, I can't today. Let's do it tomorrow!" Brook added. "Alright we'll do it tomorrow," I answered. "Sooo, you and Sebastian huh," I added. "Ugh, stoppp." Faye laughed.
After cheer practice, I was met by my younger sister and her friend occupying the living room. I just ignored them and went straight to my mom who was getting ready to leave. "Are you excited about your trip?" I asked her as I helped her with her bags. "You seem eager for me to leave huh." Mom said as he looked at me with a concerned expression. "I'm just glad you are getting to have some fun!" I smiled. "No parties Summer!" Mom strictly said. "I'm seriously going to ground you for 20 years if you do!" She added. "Of course not. You have nothing to worry about." I lied. "Alright, I have to go but BEHAVE both of you." Mom said as she looked at Sadie and me. ""Yes" We sighed in unison. "Okay, so here is the plan," I said as soon as mom walked out of the door. "Are you seriously having a party?" Sadie said. "Yes, and you are not going to be there," I smirked at her. "What?! I'm so telling mom." My younger sister said. "Uh no you're not." I stated. "Oh yes, I am," Sadie argued. "Uh no you're not," I replied. As me and my sister argued we heard the doorbell ring. "Sorry, my sister is picking me up." Sadies friend softly spoke as she stood up from the couch. Sadie gave her friend a long hug as I went to open the door. When I opened the door I was surprised to see a familiar brunette standing before me. She looked shocked to see me as well. "Maddie, hey! Come in." I said to the brunette. "I'm just here to pick up my sister," Madison stated. "Come up to my room. The girls probably want to hang out a little longer." I looked at the girls for approval, and they nodded. "Uh, alright." She said hesitantly. I soon took her hand dragging her up to my room. "I am so coming to your party by the way." My sister yelled from the couch. "No, you're not." I calmly said as I continued to walk up the stairs.
As we got to my room I quickly closed the door. I looked at the brunette with forest green eyes and I didn't know why, but my heart was racing, fast. I didn't say anything, it was almost like I was paralyzed, I just stared at her. The brunette soon spoke. "So you're having a party?" she said as she sat down on my bed. "Oh yes tomorrow, you have to come!" I replied as I placed myself beside her. "Uh I don't know, wouldn't that be weird?" She said. "Why would that be weird?" I asked the girl. "We aren't exactly in the same click." The brunette said. "Everyone is going to be there. Bring your friends." I reassured her as I smiled. "Yeah, I'll think about it." She replied. We went silent before the brunette broke the silence again. "Your room is messier than I thought it would be." She smirked as she stood up and began walking around my room. "Oh, and your room is not messy." I laughed as I stood up as well. "It's not." Maddie smiled. "I don't believe you." I teased as I placed myself beside her. She just laughed and we soon both went quiet and I continued to gaze at her. She looked at me as well. I soon felt myself leaning closer to the brunette. And closer. Our lips were closer as well. And just before they touched. The door aggressively opened. We quickly jumped away from each other. "Madison, Mom said that we have to leave now." My sisters' friend said. My sister soon appeared as well "And I'm coming to your party. And so is Becca." My sister exclaimed. "No, you're not!" I said annoyed. Maddie just laughed as she looked at me. "Well, we got to go, bye." Maddie smiled as she started walking out. "Uh yeah bye," I mumbled.
