This simple sentence resounds in my mind,
because I still don't understand
like my eyes,
equal to so many others,
can in your eyes
be so very different.
I now dedicate this poetry to you
since you have communicated complicated emotions to me,
so I too can express
that the only light
where I want to lose myself
is the one manifested
by your unique eyes
"gli occhi marroni, sono semplici occhi marroni fino a quando non trovi la persona giusta".
Questa semplice frase risuona nella mia mente,
perché non ho ancora compreso
come i miei occhi,
uguali a tanti altri,
possano al tuo sguardo
essere così tanto differenti.
Ora ti dedico questa poesia
poiché mi hai comunicato emozioni complicate,
così anch'io potrò esprimere
che l'unica luce
in cui voglio perdermi
è quella manifestata
dai tuoi unici occhi
