You stood outside of Kenma's office door letting out a sigh of relief that you didn't realize you were holding. It took everything in you to not start screaming and jumping up and down in excitement, but you had to keep your nonchalant persona up until you left.

You quickly got onto the elevator taking out your phone to text Janae as fast as your fingers could type.

After your seven messages you gave up because usually she answers right away.. you didn't think she had anything to do unless she had an emergency appointment or she was sleeping, and if you disturbed her sleeping you would for sure face the consequences the moment you would walk into the door of your shared apartment.

You got to the lobby after about two minutes, the elevator took a while but you were patient enough to wait although it would be inconvenient considering you would now be working here.. you continued walking with a slight smile plastered on your face that you just couldn't remove because of how ecstatic you were.

"Ms. L/n!"

You quickly turned your head to your right which is where the voice was originating from, it was the receptionist. "Hello Ms—" You hesitated before getting closer and reading her name plate that sat on her desk. "Yuqi!" You gave a closed eyed smile aimed her way.

"So.. did you get the job?" She was giving you a wide eyed smile before she moved closer intrigued in what words were going to come out of your mouth.

"I did!" You smiled widely at her as she clapped silently in hopes of not disturbing anyone else.

"I'm so glad! I'll be happy to have another woman working around here.. of course women work here but they all seem a bit—" She hesitated before continuing. "Stuck up.. but you didn't hear that from me!" She started to giggle and winked at you in the process.

You just giggled with her, not having much to say as you didn't know anyone here. "I have to go now Ms. Yuqi! It was nice to see you again. I'll see you again soon, take care!" You nodded your head and waved at her walking off.

"Bye beautiful! You take care as well." Was the last you heard before taking yourself through the revolving door.

You needed to go to the grocery store you had been craving Chicken Katsu for the past week.. you could just order takeout but it would be nice to unwind your day by cooking dinner. So you had to head to the grocery store for the ingredients and a few snacks for home.

You arrived at the grocery store closest to you, it was a store you weren't really familiar with which made you feel uneasy considering you weren't at the regular store you went to.. and you had no one with you, just perfect.

You got a grocery cart looking around to at least try and familiarize yourself with the store because you'd probably be coming here after work most of the time since it's on your way home from the office building. Most importantly you needed the chicken breasts, the produce section was in the back of the store and that's where you headed first. Suddenly your vision felt wide and the back of the store seemed so far away..
