~ new chapter of our lives ~

ღ ~ serenity's pov ~ღ

"KISS ME HARD BEFORE YOU GO!" I sang while dancing around my new room. We had recently moved house as my dad got the job of hosting the new tv series 'Fake it till you make it' i have no idea what its about but i hope it was worth us moving here.

My room was pretty empty, only my bed and wardrobe were in place and every other inch of my room was covered in boxes. I was looking around my room when i saw a big window in the middle of the room. How did i miss that. It had a window seat below. I sat on the seat and gazed out my window. Woah the clouds are so beautiful. Wait is someone looking at me... I look over directly into the house next door and i saw a boy with brunette fluffy hair looking directly at me. Butterflies instantly filled my stomach as i smiled and closed my curtains. I can't like him already i only just moved in.

"DINNER TIME!" I heard my mum call from downstairs. I sprinted downstairs to see pizza n the table before me.
"YAY I LOVE PIZZA!" I heard lilliana shout as she walked into the kitchen. We sat down and started talking about the plan for tomorrow.
"Sorry to say but serenity you're starting school tomorrow but lilli you start school in 2 days." My dad said looking at me with a 'sorry' look.
"Ugh we only just moved in and i don't know anybody not even our neighbours." I replied back annoyed that i'm starting tomorrow.
"It's fine seren, just think of it as a new chapter of our lives." My mum said noticing how annoyed i was.

"Yeah a new chapter of our lives." I sighed as i grabbed a piece of hawaiian pizza and went off into my room.

I searched all my boxes until i finally found one with my pyjamas in. I should've labelled them. I took out my red plaid pyjama bottoms and took out a soft black tank top. I walked into my bathroom and took a shower and washed my hair. After i got out, i got changed, brushed my teeth, did my skincare and dried my hair. I decided that since tomorrow was my first day i would put heatless curls in my hair. After i did that i sat in my new window seat and opened to blinds to see what the fit neighbour was doing. That sounded so creepy. I saw him sitting on his bed with a boy who looked almost identical to him talking to him. He looked over and smirked and i quickly shut my curtains and ran to my bed. I checked my socials then drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to my alarm ringing in my ear. I slammed it off and shook my hand as it stung a bit. I slowly dragged myself out of bed and walked over to the bathroom. I took my hair out of the heatless curls and they looked amazing. I then rummaged in the boxes to find an outfit for school. I found something after what seemed like forever (it was a pair of light blue jeans with a lilac tank top paired with my nike blazers). I got changed and did my makeup then i quickly but quietly went downstairs so i didn't wake lilli up. I grabbed an apple and i said bye to my mum.
"Why are you leaving in such a rush, school isnt till another 45 minutes and it only takes 20 minutes to walk." She asked me while sipping her cup of tea.
"In case i get lost." I replied back quickly leaving the house and shutting the door behind me.
As i was walking to school, i was constantly checking the location to make sure i was going the right way. Why couldn't i have asked my mum to take me. After about 20 minutes i had moved only to the end of my street. I was on the verge of tears until i heard a soft voice behind me.
"Hey are you new because you look quite lost." he giggled a little.
"Yeah it's my first day i just moved into my house." i said giggling as well. His laugh was contagious.
"Oh so your the girl who's windows opposite mine." He said looking at me.
"Oh yeah sorry about yesterday." I said looking down smiling to myself.
"Im jaden by the way." He said smiling at me.
"Im serenity but you can call me seren if you want." I said smiling back at him.
The whole rest of the walk to school we chatted about our families and why i moved here and stuff like that.

I have a feeling i will like it here.
