Hey guys here is my first story on this account. I randomly came up with this and thought it was rather unique. Here it is. Dragon of the apocalypse.
My wings gently beated the air with my tail behind me the fins out balencing me in the cool, cruel air. The humans world had changed in a terrable unforgiveable way. Instead of people roaming the streets doing their daily business there were these things... mindless creatures that eats anything with meat on their bones including humans.
I flew over an abandoned highway. With my sharp eyes I saw some kind strange vehicle with two humans outside it. I flew a little lower to get a proper look at them. A old man with hat and small beard was tending to a wounded dark skinned man. They both looked nice enough but couldn't take the chance. I wasn't human. I was a dragon.
I sighed and silently flew upwards again and found a small lake nearby that was in some sort of ditch. I landed near some rocks and stood up and walked over to the waterside crouched and looked at my reflection. My scales were white with a golden sort of colour around the edges. My eyes were a light blue with the pupils being slit like a normal lizard. My jaw was longish and very thick and wide with small horns outlining the edges. My teeth were large like knives and serated around the edges although they wern't visible. On the top of my head were two large horns that curved with my head down to the back of my head. Down from there to the tip of my tail was spikes lining my back. They went in between my massive wings which had scale like feathers on them with a soild gold colour outlining the tips. Their size was at least 3 metres long and 2 metres in width. My hands were like a humans only scaly and they had sharp claws tipping them. My feet had 4 toes with massive claws on them. My tail was long and thick with two golden fins on the end that help me balence when flying and a spike in between the two.
I looked up when I heard stumbling coming near me and a groaning sound. I saw a rotting corpse coming towards me. I stood up and snarled. This was the first time I haf ever encountered one of these things and I have to say it hurt my sensitive sense of smell. They stank of rotting flesh and blood of its victims.
When it got within range I swung my claws at its head twice and received brain matter to my claws and to my chest. The corpse gave one last feeble growl and fell to the ground with black blood coating the once uncontaminated grassy ground. I glared at it and faced the waterpool to clean up and washed the blood off of me. The shirt I had been wearing. A simple white vest thing was coated in a thin layer of blood and my demin shorts were relativly clean but torn on the edges. I slowly worked my way into thw water and scrubbed the grime from my scales and dipped under the water.
I swan around a little, then came back up and walked over to the rock and sat down wrapping my oversized tail around the top of the rock and allowed myself to dry. I looked around and saw something in the corner of my eye and turned my head towards it. It seemed to be a small doll of some kind and I went over to it.
I picked the doll up and had a look over. It seemed to be domethint a typical human hatchling would possesse. I looked over to the corspe I had put down and saw it looked nothing like someone who would own this doll. I placed the doll in the bag I had around my waist but before I did that I smelled the doll. Although it wasn't as strong as a canines it was very refined. Thankfully.
I smelled the air and found that the girl had been here recently. Also she seemed to be pretty nearby. I jumped up into the air and started heading into the direction of the scent. As I got closer I saw largish house and when I got even closer I saw a small girl approaching the building. She was small probally around ten. I could already smell the familer foul stench coming from the building. As she reached for the door handle I quickened my flight but it was too late she opened the door and a copse pinned her. As I reached them and was about to tackle the corpse.
She screamed.
