It was midnight in Hamelin. All Maxi could think of was work. How much coffee has he drank just to keep himself going? Oh, Xavier is going to scold him again if he didn't get his butt to sleep. "You're still up?" Xavier said from the stairs, looking at his brother. Maxi didn't say anything. No denying that. "I've told you so many times, you need to get to sleep. You've been pulling these all-nighters for awhile. At first I didn't think much of it, but now I'm getting concerned," Xavier walked to his brother.
"Sorry... I just don't have time in the morning nowadays," Maxi muttered. Xavier just sighed.
"I think it's time for you to get to sleep. If you don't, I'm gonna put you to sleep with a familiar instead."
He knew that Xavier wasn't joking. Maxi reluctantly got up from the chair and headed upstairs.
"You know, I can do what you need to do whilst you rest tomorrow."
"Xavier, you don't have to-"
"-Who said you were working. Who? Marcassin? I can do it! I just want you to take a break. Even for a day." Maxi didn't argue back that time. He was too tired despite all that stupid coffee so he just went to his room. Xavier smiled when Maxi decided to go to sleep. 'Best to get his blueprints done for him'.
When day came, Xavier got Maxi's blueprints done and got some sleep at night. It was early morning in Hamelin. Xavier and Evera were both downstairs.
