Plot~ Cassandra and Dagger haven't seen each other for 3 years until now. An exciting adventure that Cassandra is now apart of, but this was a peaceful, cold night on the seven seas as these two lovebirds couldn't sleep...

~

It was a cold, dark, gloomy night on Cassandra's ship. Her crew, and friends were sleeping as she looked up at the dead sky. Silence was all that was in the atmosphere until a voice said, "Can't sleep?" Cassandra looked behind her to see, Dagger.
"Oh, hey, Dagger," Cassandra said. A little surprised the Captain of Autumnwood Royal Guards was up. "And yeah, you're right. I can't sleep. Plus, why are you awake?"
"Just wanted some fresh air... I guess," Dagger replied.
"I'm pretty sure you get plenty of fresh air during the day," Cassandra said.
"I do, I do, but it's one of those nights where I can't really sleep." Dagger walked to Cassandra, and stood next to her.
"So... How has life been?" Cassandra asked.
"Stressful..." Dagger said.
"You sure? I mean, you do look after two teenagers, but other than that, you seem to be having fun on your adventure, Anyata," Cassandra said, but using Dagger's real name.
"Well... A lot has happened. I wish you could of been there to witness them," Dagger said with a light blush on her face.
"Why? Can't stay away from me any longer~?" Cassandra said flirtatiously. Dagger just chuckled a little.
"But seriously... We've been apart for 3 years," Dagger said sadly.
"I know... But I'm here now, aren't I?"
"Yeah, you are." They both smiled at each other.

After that, both Dagger, and Cassandra stared at the night sky. Just happy to be together after 3 years of being apart. Trust me, their long distance relationship wasn't easy. Sailing around Madori, working as the Captain of a Royal Guard. It's surprising how they are able to have time to themselves at times.
"Why are you on this journey, Dagger?" Cassandra broke the silence.
"... Well... Heard of Ruby?" Dagger said.
"I've heard some things about them. Their power is enough to set an island into a fiery heap as plants and villages burn in seconds."
"Lily, Cypher, and I think they are corrupted," Dagger said. Once Cassandra heard, she was in shocked.
"Blimey! You mean that old Corrupted King fairy tale is true!? It seems they have control of themselves like it's nothing!" Cassandra said in shock. She wasn't wrong. It really isn't normal to have a corrupted person to be in control, at least... What the fairy tale says. Dagger sighed.
"I don't think the whole fairy tale is true."
"Then what part of it do you think IS true?" Cassandra asked.
"I kept on seeing this wolf figure with Ruby... Like that thing was watching over them or they were doing the being's bidding willingly..." Silence filled the atmosphere. Cassandra was wondering if it was true. Was Dagger right?
"I don't know if I can believe you..." Cassandra started, "But if it really is, then you better be prepared on what your about to see." Dagger understood why Cassandra didn't believe her, but she was okay with it.

They gazed up at the night sky again. "So... How's the rest of the crew?" Dagger asked.
"Fine I suppose, a few scraps here, and there out at the seven seas, but that's to be expected," Cassandra replied.
"Sounds like you're still having fun out at sea."
"It never gets old, lassie!" Dagger smiled then decided to ask Cassandra something,
"Do you know when you said you were from some poor tribe or something?"
"Why, yes. I do recall." She said.
"When are you going to go visit your sister again?" Dagger questioned.
"I... I don't know. Trust me, I want to visit her, but I was a known criminal there. I'm scared if people still see me as that, and try to catch me and send me to a dungeon." True, Cassandra used to be a thief until she was encouraged to go and chase her own dream by her sister and tribe. It may also seem weird that Dagger was dating an ex-criminal, but Cassandra didn't seem what she used to be in the past, at least, that's what Dagger thought.
"You're not what you used to be, Cassandra. Plus it's where we are headin'. Right Captain?" Dagger said.
"Yeah... I guess I could try..." As Dagger, and Cassandra talked more, they didn't realize someone else was awake, hidden in the shadows of the ship.
"So... They know..." The unknown figure mumbled to himself. "Well, that's interesting. Luckily have a few more days before leaving this hell of a boat..." The figure left, going back to bed as Cassandra heard a creak of wood. Honestly, she didn't think much of it because all the time. Dagger heard it as well and got a little... well, suspicious.
"Who was that?" Dagger said as she looked behind her to see no one.
"I bet it's just the woods creaking," Cassandra said, trying to reassure Dagger.
"Are you sure...?" Dagger asked her girlfriend, not really believing it was just the woods creaking itself.
"Pretty sure." Dagger had no choice, but to believe Cassandra, so she sighed.
"Fine..." Dagger said.
