I Miss This Feeling

Plot~ Lynx finally got some alone time. This was during the storyline. The group was taking a break in Castaway Cove. Lynx decided to chill outside Castaway Cove. The group did offer to go with her, but she refused and wanted some alone time.

Third POV
"Are you sure your okay?" Oliver asked Lynx. Lynx wasn't having the best day. Not cause of Castaway Cove, but from something else.
"I just need alone time. Okay?" Lynx said to Oliver.
"Okay..." Oliver said. Lynx left Oliver, Esther, Swaine and Drippy for a bit. She's been acting a little off the past few days, but I think alone time is what she needs. Lynx headed to the exit, which is technically the entrance as well, of Castaway Cove.

Lynx POV
'Alone time! Finally!' I thought to myself. It's not that I hate Oliver and the others company, but it more like I need alone time to 'myself'. Elise is there with me, but eh. She knows how to stay hidden. I decided to sit under a tree. "I never thought I would get to have alone time until after the adventure..." I said to myself. Yes, I have alone time at night, but it wasn't enough. You know... I miss travelling alone. It was more fun because you don't have to deal with your friends bickering, them pointing out something strange almost 24/7. The only reason why I travelled with Oliver is because... I wanted to know his intentions... It was also because he was technically doing some insane talk, but now I know, that was insane talk, but the truth. He wanted to defeat Shadar, just to save his mother... that's honestly brave of him. You could say I'm kinda doing something similar... And insane. I'm trying to revive someone, let's say that, but they person was close to me... I feel so lost without them, not in a romantic way though.

I should probably get to the reason on why I wanted some alone time... Those guys... kind of remind how close I was to my old friends... That's why I always preferred travelling alone... as well. It was fun, but I have business with Shadar and his lackey, plus, Oliver can cure broken hearts.
"Remincing on the past?" Elise asked and appeared to me. She was sitting on one of the stable branches on the tree.
"Maybe..." I said.
"You and Oliver like crazy talk, don't you?" She said. "Your both trying to revive people you love. Don't you see?"
"True, but Oliver knows how he is going to revive his mother. I'm still figuring out how to revive her," I said bluntly.
"True... I hope you can revive her, Ally," Elise said, using my old nickname. I sighed.
"I hope... but right now I'm enjoying being alone for now. Sure you have to stay with me at all cost, but I don't mind that!" A small silence reigned on us for a bit until a looked up to see Elise smiling a little. I smiled back.

It has been some hours since I've seen the others. Elise and I were still sitting under the tree. The sun was setting at this point... I wonder what's gonna change after the whole Shadar ordeal... I mean, no one will get broken-hearted anymore, but what else? Elise saw the expression on my face.
"Are you okay, Lynx?" Elise asked in a concerned tone.
"I kind of wonder what's going to happen after the whole Shadar ordeal..." I replied.
"A lot of good things. Right?"
"Yes, but at the same time, I don't want it to change too much..." I paused for a bit before speaking again, "I expect Esther and Swaine to go back home, Oliver he would most likely go back to Motorville, Drippy would either go back with him or go back to the Fairyground."
"Wouldn't you be back home... in Perdida. Right?" Elise questioned. I didn't know how to respond. Yes, I want to go back to Perdida, I really do, but... staying there... doesn't feel right. As much as I want to go back to Perdida and stay, I still want to help others. Staying in one place isn't fun either.
"I... I don't know, Elise," I started, " I want to go back to Perdida, but I don't want to... settle there yet."
"So... your gonna continue travelling even after the Shadar is defeated?" Elise said.
"Maybe, but... we will have to see what the future holds. Right?" I said. Elise just nodded. I stared back at the area. The sun sets even more and I decided to head back. Elise turned invisible knowing that we were heading back to Castaway Cove. I hope we do defeat Shadar. All we need to do is find the three magical stones for Mornstar... then we face Shadar... Right?
