There was one all time greatest moment in the history of sports, in 1932 World Series. The story goes that in the bottom of the ninth inning with two outs, a full count and the trying run on the base, Babe Ruth raised his arm and pointed out to the senter field features.

No one believed it, because nobody had done it before. But the Babe was calling his shot. On the next pitch, the Great Bambino hit a towering home run. And even though he'd been a hero before that, he pretty much became a legend.

Thirty years later, a kid named Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez and his girlfriend Kayla Rose Elizabeth Ruth, the daughter of the legendary Babe Ruth, became a neighborhood legend and it was one of the best summers of my life. . .when they taught me how to play baseball and became my best friends and they got me out of the biggest pickle I've ever been in.

🎶"Hey, now. Hey, now. Its finger Poppin, Poppin time."

"Come on, Benny!" A girl with jet black hair yelled as she watched her best friend round bases before getting trapped in-between two catchers who started to throw the ball back and fourth to get him out.

🎶"Finger Poppin, Poppin time."

"Pickle!" Ham yelled and the team bombarded the umpire and third baseman.

🎶"I feel so good. And that's a real good sign."

🎶"Here comes Merry and here comes Sue. Here comes Jonny and Bobby too."

"Go, go, go!"

🎶"Its finger popping, Poppin time."

When they got to Benny he goes to the girl and twirls her around before letting her go and placing her on the ground, setting his arm around her shoulders.

🎶"I feel so good. And that's a real good sign."

"Come over at 9:00."
Benny said to Ham.

"Alright." Ham responded walking to his house which was on a different street than Kayla's and Benny's.

"See you later."
Kayla and Benny say in unison.

I moved to the neighborhood two weeks before school was let out. It was the same summer that Dodger Mury Wills would break the stolen base record.

Scott waves at Benny and Kayla from across the street. Benny nods his head in greeting and Kayla waves with a smile. She then lets out a yelp in shock as Benny lifts her by the waist and flings her over his shoulder.

"Benny! Put me down!"
The girl yelled in surprise.

"Not a chance princess."
The boy responded with a smirk.

"Benjamin!" Kayla scolds playfully, crossing her arms over her chest and pouting.

Benny smiles mischievously as he opens the door to his house. He carried Kayla into the kitchen but noticed that his mom was coming so he quickly set her down and gave her a kiss on the cheek making the girl blush.

"Ah, Kayla! Perfect timing." Mrs. Rodriguez said when she spotted the two. "I see Benny has brought you over for dinner again. I need your help picking out some pillow cushions."

"MOM!" Benny whines. "I brought her hear to hang out with me not you." He pouted while crossing his arms.

"Oh, sweet Jesus Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez! Let your girlfriend hang out with her future mother in-law." Mya exclames while throwing her hands in the air.
