Ashamed of myself

It's almost midnight and the event is finally over. Mina is looking at her cub everywhere and even asked her staff. She then goes to the patio that her girlfriend mentioned but she isn't there. Her last resort is to go to the lobby and asked the receptionist. She is about to talk to the woman at the front desk when she noticed her girlfriend sitting on the couch looking so sad. Mina then approached her.

"Baby", Mina said then sit beside Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung then looks up and sees her girlfriend. "Oh, baby. Is the event done?"

"Uhm. Are you not feeling well", Mina asked while feeling her girlfriend's forehead. 

"Not really, but I'm already tired. Can I go home now?", Chaeyoung asked.

Mina wondering what happened to her cub just nods her head. "I'll take you home", she then stands up but the cub stops her by holding her hands.

"No need. I can take home. You're already tired. Go to your room and take a rest. I'll text you when I'm home, okay?"

"Chaengie, is there something wrong?"

"No. I'm just tired. I'll just take a rest and sleep. Go ahead now". Mina can't do anything but agree. Honestly, she is really dead tired after that event and really wants to take a rest. 

"Alright. Would you like my driver to take you home?", Mina still insists but Chaeyoung declined it. The latter then stood up, peck Mina's lips, and slowly walk away. Mina just stared at the cub's back. 

The next morning, Chaeyoung woke up and start her day by preparing herself to go to work as a barista. When she changed her clothes to the uniform of the barista, she received a text message from her girlfriend. 

"Good morning, Chaengie! I hope that everything's fine and you already took a rest. Let's have lunch today. I'll fetch you! I love you!" 

Chaeyoung still hasn't had a good sleep as she keeps thinking about the event that happened yesterday. Despite that, she replied to Mina's text and just stated, "Okay". 

It's already lunch and Chaeyoung is still busy making coffee for their customers. She is busy doing coffee when someone approaches her. "Hey, cutie! What's your name?", the woman asked. When Chaeyoung looks at her, she smiles sweetly at her.  Chaeyoung then shows her nameplate. "Chaeyoung, hmm, what I lovely name. I'm Shu hua. Yeh Shu hua."

"Nice meeting you as well. Is it your first time coming here? I've been here for years but it's my first time seeing you here", Chaeyoung said.

"Oh, I recently came here. I've been training as a singer and trying my luck".

"Oh, alright. I hope that you'll be successful in your endeavor. Don't forget about this coffee shop when you are already successful".

"Sure! I will never forget you, cutie!", the woman said while looking at her intently.

Chaeyoung smiled awkwardly when the woman said it. She didn't intend to flirt with her since she is very loyal to her penguin. They are in that scenario when someone from the back of the woman cleared her throat. When they look at it, she sees Mina standing there crossing her arms. 

"Baby", Chaeyoung said. The woman who heard that look back to Chaeyoung and asked, "Baby?".

"Yes, I'm her baby. Her only "baby". Do you have a problem with that?", Mina said while staring coldly at the woman. 

"Really? What a cheap endearment", the woman said. She then looks at the cub. "If you will be my girlfriend, I will always call you "honey", she then winks at the cub and smiles flirtatiously.
