Hi! I'm starting this story because I have fallen in love with Tyler Rake. I feel like there aren't a lot of books about him, so I wanted to make one. This might never be published, and it might collect in my drafts along with several other masterpieces. In case I do publish this, and if you're reading this right now, what is the future like?

just kidding, I shouldn't be dead yet.

This book was started on June 25th, 2023.

Obviously, it's being posted after. 

This entire book is haywire. 

There are a few things you probably need to know.

First, this book IS a Tyler Rake x Reader book, meaning that Y/n is not an OC. However, I am supplying you with two physical attributes, and you may decide for yourself whether you want to keep them or pretend they don't exist. Y/n, otherwise known as Ghost, will have bright green eyes. There is another detail on her hair that I explain later.

Second, this book will take place during Extraction 2, and I will try to stay as close as I can to the original film. If you haven't seen the movies, I highly recommend watching both, otherwise some scenes aren't gonna make a whole lot of sense. 

Third, currently, only two movies are out. A third is supposed to come out soon, but until then, I'm creating another 'movie'. The first part (Pre timeskip) is all the second movie, trying to show how Nik, Yaz, Tyler and you work together. Keep in mind that the entirety of Extraction 2 happens over the course of like three days, so please don't expect Tyler and you to just immediately start making out.

Fourth, Mia and Tylers relationship history is going to be a little different. I love Mias character, and I know the way I'm going to paint her is going to upset some people, but I want you to know that it's to help Tylers character move on. I don't like it when people/characters are considered second choices, so I made this in order to allow Y/n and Tylers relationship without interference from him and Mias past. IF YOU READ NOTHING ELSE, READ THIS: Mia cheated on Tyler after their son died, tired of being by herself. 

Finally, I don't know how old Tyler is in the movie, I would assume that he's in his late thirties, but since I'm making Y/n around twenty-seven, I'm going to drop his age to twenty-nine. His son died when he was six, and a few years have passed, so with my math Tyler had his kid at nineteen/twenty.

If you have any suggestions on one-shots, 'mini movie' ideas, or if you just want to say hi, feel free to leave comments, because I enjoy reading them! Try not to start WW3 in the comments, but if you do, just know I'm going to be reading them all like a reality show.

If you would like to use any of my characters or anything like that, please just ask. Obviously, I don't own the plot of extraction, nor do I own the characters or the actors, but please respect all things that are obviously mine (including Ghost).

Please don't advertise your own works in the comments. Of course if someone else asks about a book from a different cinematic universe I'm fine with you discussing a book you like, just please don't openly suggest your own book in my story randomly. I know this might seem ridiculous to some people, but I've seen it done in other peoples books.

guess what I just realized that many of you may have already semi-picked up on.

the protagonist is almost entirely the same as Ghost from Call of Duty, down to habits and name.

This was completely un-planned and unintentional, but tbh I'm kinda proud of myself for thinking up her personality and having it mirror his bc he give off big dick energy.
