Laura's POV

I laughed as I tried to catch up with him, on the beach. The short vacation was doing good on my health so far. Taking a look back now I feel much better and I might have gained a kilo. Sadly we are flying home tomorrow night. So we are making the most of today, as you can see.

I wonder how life back in Cali is. Nevermind, I will see when I get back there. Sierra and I have a shopping date the day after we get back. Cam thought that I would be jet lagged but I reasured him I would be fine. Plus, Sierra is amazing.

Riker's POV

I sat in the living room. Puffing my cheeks out.Bored. Savannah was with her friends for the weekend and the rest of the family was, somewhere taking care of themselves. Rydel was in the shower.Ross in the studio.Rocky with Ryland.Ratliff playing tennis with his Bro.And Riker,me, lonely.

"Boom clap the sound of my heart...." Rydel's ringtone was heard round the semi-empty house. I looked at the contact ID as it was just infront of me on the coffee table. Vanessa.

I weighed the chances of the call, the positives and negatives. I took the positive side and answered the call. Without even getting a word through the phone her voice was heard out of the phone. She was crying.

"Delly, it stopped. Her heartbeat stopped for 60 seconds. I got a call from the hospital. I don't think we should have moved her to Cali at all. Delly she is my everything. I couldn't believe when the doctor called me and said baby number 280802 Raylene Hope Lynch. I just I can't do it Rydel. Please come, I need someone to support me." She stopped taking a breath.

"...she is stable now. They said she is fine. Nearlly going into 5month. I'm proud of her."

What was going on?

"Rydel? Delly? Are you okay?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing, so I just hung up and put her phone on silent. I needed to know what was going on.

I waited till Rydel came down the stairs. She was fully dressed and she was smiling at me. Soon it would become a frown.

"Rydel...I need you to be honest with me." I said

"Okay" She laughed

"Who is..." I gulped,it can't be.

"Who is who?" She asked while reaching for her phone.

"Who is Raylene Hope Lynch"

She droppe her phone on the ground not bothering to pick it up again. She had tears brimming at her eyes. Not daring to spill.

"C'mon Rydel, tell me who is she. Is she my niece, is Vanessa her mum?" I questioned

"Why is she a Lynch?"

"Why is she in hospital?"

"First of all, who is she?"

My questions just kept on coming and coming.

She sat on the edge of the sofa...

"Raylene is..."
