ch.18

Tris POV

I walk in my house and throw my bag on the floor. Instantly I smell cookies cooking in the oven.

"Mom"

"I'm in the kitchen." She calls. I walk in and see her bending over to get the cookies. Mid bend her pants and I can see her pink underwear with white polka dots.

"Ah" I cover my eyes.

"Oh my, looks like I need to change my pants." She says. She puts the cookies on the tray and goes to change her pants. As I'm reaching for a cookie my mom calls:

"Don't eat the cookies there for my book club."

"Mmhhhhh" I say as I take a cookie and shove it in my mouth. I grab my homework and start working on it. I hear my phone buzz. Its a text from Chris. (Tris italics Christina bold.)

"Hey can u come ovr?"

"Yah I think let me ask"

I put down my phone and call to my mom.

"Mom can I go to a friends house."

"Of course, found a friend already."

"Yah."

"I can, be right there."

"Great"

I grab a navey blue bikini with anchors on it. Because she mentioned she has a pool. I grab my purse and sunglasses. I walk out of my house and see Four playing basketball with Zeke and his younger brother Uriah. Ew I didn't know he was my neighbor. I get in my black convertible with pink strips. I put on my sunglasses and drive to Chris's. She lives down the road so it doesn't take to long.

I park in her drive way and she comes running from the back through a open white fence gate. She is in a black bikini with small pink harts on it.

"You made it. Wow nice car."

"Thank you. Nice bathing suit."

"Did you bring one I forgot to mention to bring one."

"Yah." She lead me inside and into what looked like her room. It has pink walls and in big black letters it says Christina. Her bed is made and she has a bathroom off of her room and a big closet. It reminds me of my house in size. She walks out and I get changed and walk out to the pool. Her pool is in an interesting shape with a hot tub flowing into the pool. I see Shauna, Marlene, Christina, Lynn, and Christina's sister Emily. I walk over to them and put my feet in the pool.

"It doesn't seem like we met today." Christina says.

"I know!" I say we met In my dream but that wasn't real.

Her mom brought out some crackers and cheese. I am starving I didn't even notice. I ate some crackers and cheese and went In the pool. The water was warm. I swam for a while.

When I got home I finished my homework. Who gives home work on the weekend.

"How was your friends house." My mom asks.

"Great."

"Thats good." I walk up to my room and look out my window. I have this lovely view of a bed room. (Note the sarcasm) I can't tell who's it is. If I had to guess it would be Fours. As if on cue he walks in out of a bathroom I'm guessing. He is only wearing a towl around his waist. I look at his abs. I've seen better. Mine. Just kidding, just kidding. I close my blinds so he doesn't notice that I saw him in just a towl, that would be embarrassing. I grab the first book in the Selection series and start to read it. Before I know it its already ten o'clock. I get I the shower. When I get out I brush my hair and teeth and go to bed.
