Silver's POV:

It was morning when me and Luni sat together on the couch, finding different ways to make use of our elements. Luni was busy trying to make multiple mini moons at her finger tips. I just made a snowball and constantly played with it around my hands.

"How long has it been since we've trained together?" Luni asked me. "Oh, now that I think about it... it's been at most a year." I made myself remember. "Well now that I'm fully functioning as a dragonblood mother, maybe I can-" "No." I knew exactly what Luni was gonna suggest.

"Why noooooot?" Luni frowned. "Because we still have children to watch out for. And I'm not gonna risk you getting hurt out there, to hell with that." I put my foot down.

"With all due respect honey, I think we both know I'm powerful than you. And you risk your life with every mission." Luni said to me in a matter of fact like tone. "Hey! I'll have you know that I've gotten a lot stronger." I corrected.

"How about you spar me so we can find out?" Luni challenged me with a smirk, ceasing her miniature moon with a slight of hand. "Oh? Why do you suggest that honeybun?" I asked slightly worried, but also curious.

"I wanna see how strong my husband's gotten. Surely you can beat a mother who just got out of pregnancy right?" Luni mocked, standing on all fours on the couch. "Don't do that to me Luni. I don't wanna hurt you." I empathized.

"And you won't. I'll make sure of it." Luni laid a hand under my cheek, giving me a confident, yet sweet smile. I couldn't help but huff in amusement, yet also glee. This brought back memories on how Luni would be stronger by element, and how I was stronger by physicality.

Another second later though, a knock on the door was heard. We went to go and check it out, and saw that Lucian was the one who arrived on our doorstep. "Hey Lucian!!" Me and Luni welcomed, happy to have seen an old friend.

"Hey guys! Sorry I'm late to the baby shower, I kind of had my own to attend to." Lucian implied. "Oh it's no problem at all!" Luni tolerated. "Also, what do you mean?" I made him run that back one more time.

"Oh yeah. Just now, Marceline successfully delivered our baby!" Lucian smiled. "Woah, that's amazing man!" I clapped for him. "Congratulations!" Luni clapped along. "Oh and the best part, he's already flying!" Lucian moved out of the way, and we saw a baby with small wings just barely flying, yet somehow wasn't straining.

"Aww he's so cute!!" Luni was awestruck. "I know for a fact your son is gonna be a flyer, believe it!" I gave a thumbs up. "Thanks bro. So, what have you two been up to?" Lucian asked, carrying is newborn son into his arms.

"Oh, me and Silver were just about to have a nice and friendly spar." Luni worded. "Come again?" Lucian looked as if he didn't hear her right. "Luni offered to have a spar in order to see who was stronger, so we were just about to get into that." I inputted.

"I see... didn't you just have kids?" Lucian looked at Luni like she was suicidal. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. I already told Silver he wouldn't get the chance to touch me." She nudged me playfully. "Then I propose a bet." I challenged.

"Oh?" Luni looked enticed. "This'll be interesting son." Lucian spoke to his dragonling. "If I manage to get a single touch on you, I win. But if you manage to keep me from laying a finger on you for a whole minute, you win." I proposed.

"Deal. Let's go!" A mere second later, she ran out the door at the speed of sound, presumably to the back of the house. "I'm guessing we should go follow her?" Lucian asked. "If you want." I walked out of the house, and Lucian simply followed with his son. Probably to watch.

Finally at the back of the house on the open field, me and Luni faced each other on opposite ends, with Lucian watching from the near sidelines of our house's porch. "Remember Luni, I fight without a form, and you can go into Maki whenever you want. Okay?" I reminded.

"I appreciate you trying to make it equal, but I don't need it." Luni refused. "Fine, no forms allowed." Me and Luni got into our fighting stances. With a literal snap, I started the fight.

I attempted to rush at Luni with high speed, but of course she was able to knock me back without effort. As a moon dragonblood, her gravity control was even more insane as a key. But I stayed wary of this, and tried again.

Instead of coming at her from the same angle, I came at her from a different angle. I blitzed my way behind her, and attempted to grab her shoulder, but she leaned out of the way with ease, her moonlit aura slightly visible.

I kept trying to palm her, grab her, in any way I could, I tried to touch her. It was no use though. Whenever I tried to grab her, she'd sometimes flip me without touching me. Whenever I tried to palm her, sidestep with ease.

So I stomped the ground, attempting to catch her feet in ice. She flipped up high into the air, and shot her moon breath straight at me. Before it could even get a chance to decay me, I forced the wind to implode that same blast.

Luni landed on the ground safely, but I clenched my fist with fire, and pounded the ground that was beneath her. As expected, it caught her off guard for me to use fire, and so I used lightning to increase my speed and touch her.

Sadly, she was quick enough to telekinetically blast me away once more. Unknowingly, it gave me another idea. I adjusted my body to land on thin air thanks to my wind control, and I attempted to come at her again.

Of course she dodged, and slammed me into the ground, forcing her moon sparkles to explode in my face. However, I slid on the ground without a scratch, and summoned a whole plethora of ice around us.

I rushed at her again with a body augmented by lightning furthermore. And she still blasted me away with some of the ice. I landed on thin air again, but this time, I was moving all over the place. The air, the grass, the ice, I bounced off of whatever I could see.

And with one last attempt to catch my wife who was slipping on ice with faltered focus, I blasted off towards her with fire at my beck and call for agility. Luni saw this at the last moment, and attempted to blast me away, but it was too late.

Luni blasted away a majority of the ground, the ice, and nearly shook the trees among the woods, but thanks to my fire, lightning, and persisted wind control, I was able to get my hands on Luni's hand. Just a simple grab was all it took.

Once that was all said and done, I lightly hovered down in front of her. Her hand and mine still stayed in touch for as close as we were. My clothes were a bit tattered though.. "So, what did you say about being stronger?" I smirked.

"Let's just call it even baby." Luni gave me a small kiss on the cheek. I smiled. "Come on, let's go and check on the kids to see if they're awake." I lead her back to the house. There we could see Lucian clapping his hands.

"Bravo, bravo!! I give it an eight out of ten!" Lucian rated. We both just gave him looks of questioning. "What? All I'm saying is that it could have been flashier." Lucian advised.
