Ajin's POV:

In what felt like a second, everything shifted back to normal. I was standing on solid void white ground again, the giant silhouette of Death disappeared. And I turned around to see all three of my half brothers stare at me with a level of respect.

"Damn Ajin, you didn't have to show us off like that." Don slapped me on the back. "And talk about a glow up, your aura looks different now." Xenon pointed at me. I looked at myself and saw a light blue and purple glow, and green electricity radiating off of my body.

"Is this... my power now?" I hinted at my icy effect. "Looks like it." Ghost continued to smoke. "And that concludes your training my son." Death descended from above us. "Wait, don't I need more training with these powers at least?" I asked.

"Think of it like the Midas touch, and Superman. But with ice." Death winked. I looked down at my hands, contemplating on the true lengths of my power. "So who's next? Are we gonna get cool new powers like Ajin just did?" Xenon asked.

"Not exactly. There's a difference between the three of you, and him alone I do say so myself." Death hinted. "What's that?" Don was curious. "He has no limits. You lot on the other hand, have limits that have already been reached." Death enlightened.

"So what do we do, Go super saiyan?" Ghost joked. "You're not far off, Ghost." Death pulled something out of the pocket of her tight black robe. It had an ominous bright gray glow to it, and an aroma of dreadful black seeped from it.

"Is that... a collection of souls?" Don asked. "Correction; it's a small collection of souls that died with hatred and fear in their hearts." Death corrected. "Ah I see." Don observed. "What do we do now?" Xenon looked to Death.

"Ghost. Come here." She ordered. Ghost wasn't expecting her to call him by his suggestive name, but he still walked over to her nonetheless. On fr he got close enough, he flicked his burnt out cigarette away from our sight.

"So what do you want me to do?" He asked in curiosity. "I want you to consume these corrupted souls." Death confessed. "Oh word? This is gonna be so easy." Ghost grabs the orb of corrupted souls from her hands.

"I wouldn't be too sure about that." Death watched as Ghost continued to swallow the souls whole. "I'm sorry what?" Ghost was not paying attention. Out of nowhere, Ghost started groaning and screaming.

Me and the others staggered from hearing his bone chilling scream. "R-Ray!! What did you do to him?!" Xenon balled his fists in a rage. "Are you angry?" Death asked with a contemptuous glance. Xenon was clearly pissed.

"Then do something about it." She instigated. Suddenly, a heavy pressure looks to have fallen upon Xenon's already fear shivering body. He strained to get up with all of his might, almost popping a vein.

"I won't... let you end him!" Xenon's aura shifted into a widespread blood red. The entire terrain seemed to shift into a dark nighttime like area with a blood red moon taking place above us. Xenon's eyes lit up as his shadow became one with his body, taking a whole new form.

"Let. Him. Go." Xenon warned in a deeper monotone voice. "I don't think he's gonna need my help for that." Death pointed. Ghost's groans of pain quickly shifted into hysterical laughter and ecstasy.

But just like Xenon, he too became new as his aura shifted his body into a new look. Except this time, he had pitch black chains conjured from his neck and call. His skin melted and molded into an abomination. His hair ignited like fire.

"I don't know what this is, but I don't care

"I don't know what this is, but I don't care. I'm digging this!" Ghost noticeably grinned. We could barely even recognize him anymore, but his aura was still familiar, just stronger. Xenon looked at the monster he had transformed for.

He didn't seem to have any words whatsoever, but I could tell he felt relief. "Oh sh*t, things are about to get interesting." Don crossed his arms, anticipating what would happen next. A second later, Xenon looked back at death as his arm displaced itself into a dark blade.

"Any last words?" Xenon was not playing around. He was actually about to fight with Death itself. Not even bothering to go giant, she let her hand out to him, telling them both to get started.

"Come." Death challenged. Much obliging, Xenon blitzed his way over to Death, attempted to punch her in the gut. She caught his punch, and ducked her head away from his lightning speed slash from his blade.

She threw him to the side, making him slide on all four limbs. Ghost took aim towards the action, and summoned over 1000 of his chains to attack her. Like a student trying to attack it's master, it failed miserably.

Death summoned over 10,000 chains, quickly overpowering him by surprise. But he still remained unfazed. Xenon rushed back with a trail of red behind him, and attempted to kick her in her hip.

Gladly retaliating, she side punched his leg clean off. Xenon stumbled on the ground for a moment, but all it took were a few seconds of blood loss for him to fully regenerate a completely new leg.

Death smiled, looking to have expected this. I asked myself if she really had ill intent for this battle. But wether she did or not, Ghost appeared right in front of her face, ready to unleash something out of his mouth.

He was so fast, I almost lost track of him. Like an actual dragon, he blasted a devastating beam of hellfire at point blank range. And I would know, I manifested hellfire before. For a moment, we though she lost. To be honest, I felt a bit worried for her. She was our mother after all.

Luckily, she wasn't called 'Death' for nothing. When the smoke cleared, we could see that she didn't even budge. "Not bad my son. Not bad at all." She grabbed his face, and nearly slammed him to the ground.

Quickly, Ghost teleported above her and tried striking her from the head. With light speed reflexes, she turned around and quite literally SLAPPED him away. Xenon also tried to fire his deadly bloodlust empowered aura at her, but it barely did a thing.

With a glint in her eyes, Xenon's body was forced to face the ground with an insane amount of force. "You too are definitely of greater power now. That's for sure." Death said as the two boys slowly reverted to their original forms.

"You two passed." Death beamed, tears of pride swell on her face.
