The future

Older Hinata's POV:

Flashback

I went out for a dinner with naruto, I forgot to say anything to sasuke because I met him just a bit after I left the house. Which confused me, he should be finishing his works now as a hokage..

"Hey!" Naruto greeted again for the third time, like he was a controlled robot or something. I just shrugged it off, naruto has changed.

"Hmm, hey! Uhh I should get home by now.." I said while finishing my bowl, we're surprisingly not in the ramen shop which confuses me. How could naruto know such an expensive restaurant? I thought he only eats at ichiraku ramen.

I guess I was wrong.. maybe Sakura showed him this restaurant. The thought suddenly made me happy. I'm happy for them.

"No no, accompany me Hinata!" He said that already too, is he acting like an AI or something?

I wonder what my kids are doing now, they're.. yeah, gone by the scroll Sasuke had made.

I know he has a reason, I trust him even though he didn't trust me enough to tell me about it. I smiled even more.

He doesn't want me to be involved, I wanna keep that in mind. I mean he's my husband, and I'm his. So he probably just wanna keep me, us safe.

Although we sort of failed to protect our children, he had a plan and he finally told me about it. It made me happy just by thinking about it.

"Hey!" Naruto waved again, this is the fourth time he said it with the same tone. Should I be worried?

"Uhh, I really have to go. My husband is waiting for me... Naruto. And I'm sure Sakura is too" I awkwardly said, his smile didn't fade like I said something funny and awesome.

"No no, accompany me Hinata!" That's it, my heartbeat raised so fast that I dropped my fork. He looked at me with confused and scary eyes, I held back then walked.

"I-I really have to go.. I'm sorry!" I weirdly said while looking at him, he's now picking up the fork that I dropped.

"No no, accompany me Hinata!"

My hands and knees are now shaking, something's wrong. Why did I just feel it right now? Sasuke.. help me..

I ran as fast as I can, the lights were dim in the restaurant and it's a private restaurant which means there's no more people except the chef there. I just ran and ran until I've reached our house.

I opened it and saw a depressed look Sasuke, maybe he was staying up to look for me.. "I'm sorry for arriving late, I was wi-"

He cut me off, "I'll send the divorce as fast as possible, that's what you want right?" He coldly asked me without looking at my eyes.

"N-no, what do you mean?" I stuttered, what a weird night.. My heartbeat's going crazy I'm so confused and scared right now. Just what the heck is going on?

Is this some kind of nightmare? Please wake me up as soon as possible.

"Don't act fool, I told you to be gone already and never show yourself again. Why are you here again.. d-do you like seeing me suffer?" Sasuke asked with a sad tone, I badly wanna hug him.

"N—" He cut me off again,

"Don't answer. I'll send the divorce papers as soon as possible, and stop looking at me like that. Don't act like you didn't want this"

"What the hell are you talking about?!" I finally said out loud, Sasuke darkly looked at me.

"Don't act fool, leave. Wife." He scoffed after saying the word 'wife'

"I don't wanna see you again, makes me sick. Thinking of you feels sickening, you're the worst person I've ever met. T-those children were disgusting. I wish I never had them with you. I regret everything, let's have a divorce." He continued, a tear drop in my eyes.

How could he say that just like that? He's.. regretting everything that we made, he's regretting every memory we shared.

"I-I.." He stopped, I noticed tears in his cheek but he looked away. "Leave." He said sternly

My heart felt heavy, I ran outside like it was the end of the world. I ran and ran til I found my feet outside Ino's apartment. Ino..

I knocked twice, "Who the hell would come at this hour—" She stopped once she saw me, bare face, teared eye, no shoes nor slippers.

"Hinata!" She screamed and hugged me like I was a huggable teddy bear that she could hug the whole day. "What happened!? Where's Sasuke?" She said, my tears continued falling when she mentioned him.

"W-were g-gonna.." She stopped me and hushed me.

"Talk when you're fine, I don't wanna see you like this. C'mon let's head inside, Sai is preparing a movie!" She giggled a bit while thinking of Sai

"Am I disturbing you..?" I asked and pursed my lip, she denied and made me feel at home. Being with ino is relaxing, she's the only person who understands me back then. Even now.

"So tell me, what happened? If you don't want to then don't tell me okay? I love you.. my bravest woman." My heart sank at her words, it was too comforting, too much.. but it's something I needed.

She placed a hot damped towel in my dirty feet, while rubbing it slowly. I ran so much that I can't even feel my feet anymore.

I told her everything, every single thing that happened. I ranted and ranted until I feel fine while she listened carefully.

She even made a script about what she'll tell Sasuke once they met, I chuckled the whole night with her. Sai gave us time, he said he'll sleep.

"That rude immature emo guy! I knew I always hated him!" Ino grunted, I chuckled even though I knew she liked Sasuke before.

"Rest now, love. We'll take care of our problem tomorrow." Ino caressed my numb foot that she washed and healed. Her soothing words never fail to comfort me.

Even though it's only 'my' problem, she said it was 'ours'. Sai is lucky to have a person like her.

"I don't think I'll sleep for tonight" I painfully chuckled, I can't even last a second with being silent because I'll think of him.

Why is it so easy for him to say that? Hearing it is so so hard.. I feel like breaking down, sleeping felt so.. wrong.

A/N: Any theories? Also I wanna inform you that this story is just gonna be up to 20 Chapters.. Hopefully we'll finish this story together!
