If you think this is hell you are wrong, hell has levels.
Since Sakura arrived at Mary Geoise the days passed like a blur. She lost track of days and time. Every day seemed the same.
When the sun had not even risen over the horizon, every morning the assistants who looked after the tenryuubitos' house were in charge of giving the slaves ice-cold water to drink, a piece of hard bread, a piece of cold cooked potato, and if they had any luck, a piece of rancid cheese. After that small breakfast that made some people cry with joy, most of the slaves left that small, dirty, and smelly space designated as the slave room.
The most "important and exclusive" slaves -those who had direct contact with their masters- were classified into groups and stayed in the room until their owners woke up and were called. The classifications were the following:
The vehicles, two giants, an ex-pirate, and an ordinary human whose bodies lost muscle to the point that they seemed unrecognizable due to poor food and treatment; were used as means of transportation, and even the Tenryuubitos used them to move around in their own gardens. Others were jesters one, two, three, and four, two men and two women who were in charge of dancing and entertaining their masters and guests. The other group were the things, people who only lasted a day or two because the owners only bought them to entertain themselves with other nobles while they had fun watching that group of slaves flee from hungry wild beasts inside a cell - the most popular entertainment at the moment- and finally the pets, a group that was made up of a Mink under the command of the father, an ex-pirate in the hands of the mother, a human in the hands of the daughter and Sakura in the hands of their youngest son.
During the day they did everything their owners said and at night Sakura could barely sleep because being locked in a room filled mostly with men, she had to defend herself from roving hands that tried to take advantage when they thought she was asleep. That is the only thing she reacted to defend herself.
The boy named Fernan called her as soon as he went down to have breakfast with his family, he made the kunoichi stay still behind her seat and watch the freshly prepared delicacies that the servants put on the table and the Tenryubitos ate carefreely. After breakfast, Fernan made Sakura follow him everywhere, looking for the slightest mistake to correct her. What he didn't know is that Sakura already felt dead inside, any punishment was just a small tickle, so his acts of intimidation had no effect, he whipped her, made her walk on tacks, and left her without eating for a few days...
Nothing.
None of the options had the effect Fernan wanted, so as the days went by he got angrier and angrier as well as his resentment towards Sakura increased. One day in a fit of anger because of one of the slaves, "thing", for which he bet and did not win, Fernan vented his anger on Sakura who looked at him indifferently, he sent for a servant who brought him the iron, and himself put on her the mark of the heavenly dragon claiming that it was time to mark her as own. It wasn't put on Sakura's back as the servants believed by taking off her red shirt, the boy had a better idea. He marked it in the center of one of her thighs.
"Every time you see it, you'll remind yourself and everyone that you're no better than trash," Fernan whispered to her, smirking when he saw her grunt in pain as she was branded with the red-hot iron.
It was the only reaction that got out of her before and after the mark.
The only things on Sakura's mind were the now-seemingly distant memories of her friends, family, and the villagers she saw every day. All those smiles and laughter with which she lived were replaced by tears and regrets. The memory of Naruto falling with her haunted day and night until she accepted that it was just a figment of her imagination. He wasn't there when she woke up on the ship or when she was sold at the auction house.
