Chapter 18-3 children and a psycho

Over the span of a week Mu Qing had gone through what could have only described as hell. For one he had been 'kidnapped' by what he thought was an old childhood friend who turned out to be an absolute psychopath, he later on accidentally excepted a deal that tied his life to it and don't get me started on his love life. Ugh it was a mess!

"How could I have been so stupid falling for such a basic plan!" Reprimanded the God of the southwest sitting in his new quarters.

The room was quite small compared to his palace in heaven but was a similar size to the entirety of his previous house. It had a oak flooring and white walls. There was a large circular window that led out to a balcony and it showed a view of hills and a river. The previous owners of this property must have been quite wealthy if they were able to afford such a beautiful view.

If it wasn't his prison My Qing probably would have taken in the beautiful architecture but sadly his judgement had been clouded by the urge to escape. Of course he was unable to since his life was on the line.

A sudden knock on caught his attention, he elegantly went over expecting to see who the source of the sound came from.

"You need to leave! NOW!" Spoke Tomio as the other two were seen standing beside him.

" wow the hospitality from this place is impeccable," muttered Mu Qing under his breath.

"Huh what was that? Whatever it doesn't matter, the fact is you are in danger so you got to use those oddly long legs to run away!" Stated Yumi.

" Run away, Why what happened to you guys I know he's crazy and a psychopath but - actually no bug he's crazy and a psychopath, but he's a crazy psychopath who has my life soooooo-"

"We can get your life back but it will cost you a lot!" Stated Sayuri finally joining the conversation.

"Cost me? Cost me what? My arm? My hair? Oh wait no that's practically gone already,"

"Stop acting so stupid! Geez you'd think a grown man would realise that this is a serious situation!"

"Now listen here I'm only 17!"

"Uhuh!" Tomio raised an eyebrow.

"Plus a few centuries or so,"

"Yeah, the 800 year old h@g is delusional, why do we even try! Come on, let's go before we get in trouble!"

Mu Qing was about to open his mouth to throw out an insult to the boy when a fast chilling wind entered the room.

"Children, why are you here? Shouldn't you be in bed? What are you doing?"

The sound came from none other than Yūrei Setsuko, the psychopath of the house and the capture of God of the southwest.

"Mu Qing, what were the children telling you? I hope it wasn't anything about me or the house it wouldn't be good to find out that you were talking badly behind my back,"

"Of course not Yūrei, they were simply welcoming me!"

"Oh if that's all, then children to your rooms!"

"Yes of course!" They sounded in union as if the line had been rehearsed.

Following suit after the children Yūrei halted by the door before opening his mouth," I don't take kindly to liars Mu Qing you should know this," and with that he left and Mu Qing could breath.

"Oh gods what have I got into!"

"A whole lot of hell that's what!"

"What the f-!"
