The raindrops falling on your window.
The sound of the wind along with that of the passing cars.
Everything about tonight was so chill and cozy that almost had you asleep.
The fluffy blanket hugging your curled up body made you feel warm.
But still not warm enough, because your boyfriend wasn't there.

You came home from his show a few hours ago, had dinner and showered.
You went straight to bed afterwards but Christopher wanted to wash the dishes and tidy up a bit before going to bed.
No matter how tired you were and how cozy the atmosphere was you tried your best to stay up and wait for Christopher.
He had a long day after all and you wanted to at least cuddle him and chat a bit before going to bed.

After a good while of forcing yourself to stay awake you decided to text your boyfriend.
It was 2 am already and he still hadn't joined you.

You: Chris where are youuu
You: it's getting late
You: 😕😕😕

No response.
You let out a big sigh before you turned the light on and you almost crawled out of bed because of your exhaustion.
You rabbed your eyes and yawned as you walked down the stairs looking for your boyfriend.
And there he was.
On the sofa.
Literally lying there half asleep, watching TV.
"baby" you whined earning Christopher's attention.
He gave you a smile that didn't last long since a little cough interrupted it.
"why are you up?" he asked, sitting up straight.
"I was waiting for youuuu. Let's go to bed I'm so tired" you mattered grabbing his hand only for him to push it away.
You gave him a big pair of eyes but that's when you noticed his own.
They were red, along with his nose.
He coughed a bit again and you immediately placed your hand on his forehead to check his temperature.
"did you catch a cold? I told you a million times to dry your hair before leaving the house Chris!" you scolded him earning a sigh from him.
"I know I know tsk" he replied rolling his eyes.
"let's go to bed. You should get some rest and you'll feel better in the morning-" you said grabbing his hand again but his reaction was the same.
He pushed your hand away once again earning a confused look from you.
"I'll sleep here baby, I don't want you to get sick too" he said but you instantly shook your head.
"It's fine even if I do-"
"no it's not. Go to bed without me baby we'll talk in the morning"
"Chris-"
"goodnight"
"fine...Goodnight" you said halfheartedly and you headed back upstairs.
You jumped under the sheets and tried your best to fall asleep.
But now you were so anxious especially knowing that Christopher wouldn't sleep with you tonight.
And most importantly you were worried about him too.
You tried for a good while but you just couldn't sleep knowing Christopher was feeling uneasy in any way.
Once again you got up from bed but this time with your blanket and you rushed downstairs.
You saw Christopher had opened up the sofa, making it into a bed and he was already asleep.
His breathing was unsteady tho because of him being sick.
With a small sigh you lied down next to him and you carefully covered both of you with the fluffy blanket.
Letting out a small groan, he turned around, facing you and slightly opened his eyes.
"Jeez Y/N I told you we should sleep separately tonight"
"no!"
"baby you'll get sick too"
"I don't mind. Go back to sleep now"
You said placing a quick peck on his nose earning a few giggles from him.
"you're too precious" Christopher whispered, pulling you closer to him and stroking your back every now and then.
You felt ten times more relaxed and comfortable.
Warm too.
Nothing feels more warm than his touch.
"goodnight sick baby"
"goodnight precious"
