"Devin! do you have everything my love? I packed your bags but I don't know what sneakers you wanna bring!" I shout from down the stairs.

"hi baby" he says wrapping his arms around my waist making me nervous like we had just met.
"even after being together a total of 7 years you still manage to swoon me." I say he chuckles and i throw my arms around his neck in response
he leans down to give me a kiss which I respond to gladly. Not wanting him to be late I pulled away after a few seconds.
He groans. "mama are you coming to the game tonight?" he asks with hopeful eyes.
"i don't know love, you know they put me on the night shift tonight so I highly doubt it but I promise i will be watching online cheering you on so loud you'll even hear me." I say trying to lift the mood.
he softly smiles but I can tell he's disappointed. "Cam i've told you time and time again you don't have to work. I sigh knowing where this is going
"Dev-" he cuts me off
" no baby, I can take care of the both of us. I hate that my wife is missing games cus that boss of hers is involve with her" he says with a bit of annoyance.
"Devin we have talked about this, Harvey isn't in love with me, he's married" i state continuing
"and I don't want me to be a lame housewife and you just work and I suck up all your money I wanna be able to work for myself too." I get out removing his grip and getting his bags
he could tell i was now upset as I quickly handed him his bag and walked towards the kitchen.
"have a good game I love you, don't get frustrated know who you are." I say grabbing a water
Devin sighs and drops his bag coming up behind me and grabbing my waist pulling me to him.
"i didn't mean to upset you baby but I just miss my lucky charm, knowing I have the biggest support by my side in everything means so much to me" he states kissing my cheek repeatedly
