The WGA, which is a labor union that you're apart of, has gone on strike. You receive a call from Stephen after talking about it with other members of the union.

Y/n: "Hello!"

Stephen: "Hey, how ya feelin?"

Y/n: "I'm ready for this."

Stephen: "Yea, we're all gonna get through this together."

Y/n: "We're going off the air right?"

Stephen: "Definitely. No new episodes until the people that make it possible get their fair share."

Y/n: "Ok just making sure. What are you doing up?"

Stephen: "I'm just in my study, going through social media on my computer."

Y/n: "Which app?"

Stephen: "Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook."

Y/n: "Are you looking yourself up or are you just going through news?"

Stephen: "I'm just scrolling- why are you asking so many questions?"

Y/n: "No reason..."

Stephen: What's gonna happen if I look myself up?"

Y/n: "Nothing I just find it... weird..."

(You hear Evie speaking in the back, so you pause to hear what she's saying)

Evie: "Come to bed Stephen."

Stephen: "I'm on the phone dear."

Evie: "With who?"

Stephen: "Doesn't matter, I'm on the phone.
What were you saying y/n?"

Evie: "I was saying to come to bed, and get off of the phone with her."

(She takes his phone)

Evie: "Hello?"

Y/n: "Um... hi. We were just talking about the strike and-"

Evie: "I think you should go to bed too."

(She hangs up)

"What the fuck." You say to yourself before going to bed.

The next day
May 2nd 2023
You receive a phone call from Stephen.

Y/n: "Hey Evie."

Stephen: "Oh you've got jokes."

Y/n: "Ohhhh, hey Stephen."

Stephen: "Look, I'm sorry for what happened last night."

Y/n: "Oh no, let's just move on."

Stephen: "No I wanted to call you back, but I assumed you were asleep."

Y/n: "In which I was but it's ok Stephen."
