Saturday Morning
Montclair, NJ

The next morning, you wake up in his bed. He's still asleep next to you, and you're both still naked. You have a hangover from the drinking you'd been doing the night prior. As your vision clears up, you look at his alarm clock and see that it's only 7 am. You try to go to sleep, but you just can't. Getting out of the bed and entering the bathroom, you turn on the water so that you can take a shower. When you return to get your clothes, you see that Stephen is awake. "Good morning." He says. "Good morning." You reply. "You mind if I join you in there?" He says in a tired and raspy voice. "Sure, I'm just trying to wash off my hangover. This headache is killing me." You say with your eyes closed. Stephen gets out of bed and walks towards you. He starts massaging your head, moving his fingers rotationally. "Does that feel good?" He asks. "Oh yea." You reply. "Come on darling, this water's running but no one's in it." He says taking your hand and leading you into the bathroom.

By now, it's about 9 a.m, and you're in the kitchen studying your jokes for your upcoming show. Stephen comes next to you and sets a bowl of fruit next to you. "I know you don't really eat breakfast foods. I always see you in your office with some fruit so..." "Thank you Stephen." You reply smiling at him. His generosity was a heart-warmer. "Are you preparing for your show?" He asks while pouring himself a cup of coffee. "Uh... yea. I'm surprised you remembered." You say. "Well... I should, I'm an audience member." He says before taking a sip of his coffee. "Oh yea that's right! I totally forgot! Do you need me to reserve you a seat or something?" You ask. "Oh no, I'm ok." He replies. You go back to your notebook and start eating the fruit. "Is it good?" He asks. "It's perfect!" You reply. "And I made sure that it was room temperature." He says sitting next to you. "How do you know I like my fruit room temperature?" You ask as you continue to eat it. "Well your teeth are sensitive to biting on cold foods." He says in an obvious tone. "I never told you that." You say making eye contact. Stephen nervously pauses as he realizes he's caught himself in a trap. "Well... aren't everyone's teeth sensitive to cold? I mean mine are." he says, trying to escape the situation. "Stephen... you have fruit in your refrigerator." You say trying to make him confess to the fact that's he's obsessed with you. "Do I have a stalker Stephen?" You say putting your hand on his. He pauses and starts blushing. He knows you caught him, but he hesitates to confess. He takes another sip of his coffee. "...yea." He says smiling and putting his hand behind his head.

You two laugh together and you say "And I thought I was the stalker." "I'm more of an observer." He replies. "Yea... you observe me!" You say jokingly, making him laugh again. "Hey Stephen... on a serious note, how do you fake the healthy marriage?" You ask while playing with your pen. "Wow." He sits back and thinks about it. As his eyebrows clinch together, you can really tell that this isn't an easy subject for him to talk about. "I'm an actor." He says putting his attention back on you. "I've said a lot of things about our marriage that wasn't true, and I've expressed a lot of untrue feelings. I call it show business."

"Understandable." You reply.

"But when I'm with you, I promise everything I say about you will be sincere. They're gonna know about us someday." He says grabbing and holding your hand. "I love you." He says kissing your hand. The eye contact that he makes with you after the kiss turns you on. He's so gentle in everything he does. You smile and cross your legs. "Uh... *gulp* so are you actually gonna eat anything? Would you like some of my fruit?" You ask trying to move on. It was a nice moment, but you don't want to get pregnant by him... yet. "No I'm good, I was actually gonna go outside. You should come with me, I have something cool I want to show you." He says getting up and leading you outside.

"This is my archery set!" He says in an excited tone

"This is my archery set!" He says in an excited tone. You could tell that it was something he was proud of. The smile on his face truly made it something special. "Oh, nice! You're a real elf now!" You reply in the same excited tone. "That's what I was thinking! Watch me take this shot."

"Boom! Right down the middle! Your turn

"Boom! Right down the middle! Your turn." He says handing you the bow and arrow. "Oh no Stephen, I'm too clumsy to be given something like that." You say backing away. Stephen puts his hand around you waist and brings you back. "Come on I'm right here, I'll teach you how to do it." You take the bow and arrow, knowing he's only doing this to be close to you. "Ok hold it firmly, and spread your legs." He says giving you directions. "Thought I did that last night." You say jokingly. Stephen can't contain his laughter and slowly turns red. "Um... we'll." He says laughing again. "Come on are you gonna teach me or not?" You say laughing with him. "Alright turn to your side and aim. The bow is heavier than you think so be careful." You pull the arrow back which surprises him. "Woah, you're strong." He says giving you space. "Now aim and let go, don't push it just release." You follow his orders and your shot ends up a little more successful than his. "Woah I did it better than you!!" You say in a celebratory tone.

"Damn." Stephen says sounding defeated. You set down the bow and do a victory dance in front of him. He accepts his loss as he watches you dance and run around him. "Alright I'm gonna get you." He says before chasing you back into the house.
