Let's play, 'can you spot the marvel quote I snuck in here?'

The rain started to come down a little harder, and you both had come to the decision to simply sit on the back porch under the awning, and watch the downpour. Neither of you spoke in each other's company, you sat quietly together, it was silent, and nice. Nobody said a word, only the sounds of the summer storm echoed in your ears, you enjoyed the silence, and the scene before you. The rain fell in a constant pattern, and thunder sounded in the distance, with the occasional flash of lightning.

Outside smelt heavenly, with the mixture of the warm air, grass, and rain it smelt like relaxation. The clouds were a beautiful dark grey, and you thought it complimented the dark green grass that was a few feet infront of you. Armin sat with his head in his knees, and you were leaning back on your hands. He still couldn't get the things he had to say to you, out of his troubled mind. It constantly pounded in his head and ate away at his thoughts. He couldn't help but meditate on it constantly, it repeated in his head over and over again, and he dwelled for days.

He couldn't even enjoy the rain because of it. "Here I am.." He thought. "In another situation where I can't find the right words, as usual." He sighed at the thought of it. He glanced over at you, and saw how blissfully unaware of his situation you were, and he didn't want to interfere with it. But, he had too, and Armin knew he did.

Armin remembered when he confessed to you about being bullied at school. He remembered it clear as day. He remembered sitting there twisting the bottom of his T-shirt, not knowing how you were going to react. He wasn't sure if you remembered as well as he did, it may not have been a huge thing to do, but it was very significant to him.

It reflected upon you, and how much you worried, and how much you cared. It showed a point of strength in him too, he thought.

Armin shut his eyes tightly and felt a knot in the bottom of his stomach. He was nervous, worried, and internally very upset about the situation, but he tried to keep it off his face. He knew what he was going to say, was going to be the hardest thing he ever did so far. It stressed him out to the max, and the anxiety he had over it had torn through him almost completely. It was just too much to deal with, he didn't want to have to say it, he wished it would all just go away.

Armin didn't notice the expression he had planted on his face though, because the moment you noticed you asked, "Is something wrong Armin?"

Armins eyes shot open quickly, and he looked in your direction.

"Huh? Oh, um. No. Everything's fine." He answered a little too quickly.

Of course, you knew him too well to believe him, this wasn't the first time you saw him do this. "No it isn't, I know that face what's bugging you?" You asked again.

Armin stared at you with an exasperated expression, his eyes were wide and sad, and his mouth open struggling to say words. "I- I...." Was all he managed to say.

"Hey, seriously man what's wrong?" You asked, noticing his troubled looking face.

Armin looked down at the ground, and shut his eyes tightly once more, begging himself to just say it, to just get it off of his chest. You viewed him with worried eyes, and waited for him to speak. Armin roughly ran his fingers through his hair and slammed his hands down on the porch, staring straight ahead. He cussed to himself on the inside, and finally just spit it out. "I'm moving." He said quickly and bluntly. "And I won't ever get to see you again!"

Your eyes grew wide in shock. "W-what?" You said.

Suddenly everything seemed to change. You couldn't believe what you just heard, you thought he was playing with you, you thought it was all just a joke because you didn't want to believe it was true. "Armin are you serious? You have to be jo-"
