"So how do you play this one?"

"Oh that one's easy, here, let me help."

It's been a few months since I last saw Eda and King. A few months since I ruined everyone's lives and their home. Some were even unlucky enough and got stuck back here with me, in my home. All I did was try to help someone, I thought he was my key to get back home. Obviously I was wrong. I did managed to get home but I messed up a lot on the way.

So now here I was on the basement floor, teaching Hunter how to play some of my old games.

The console is one of mines, my dad found some old guy selling it for a cheap price, he bought it and gave it to me fir Christmas that year. The device itself was...old. That didn't matter though, it's the memories that count. I felt myself smile at the memory of my dad and playing on weekends to cheer me up. I used to get teased a lot at school, until last year I was bullied a lot. Now I'm doing okay, academically amd socially.

"What are you smiling about Luz?"

I turned over and saw Hunter watching me with a brow raised. I hadn't realized I was still smiling, whoops. "Y'know, you just suck and I'm trying to hold in my laughter that's all," I responded giving him a smirk. He let out a small chuckle amd gave me a light shoulder nudge which I returned.

I woke up the next morning with my head on his shoulder and his head resting on of my head. It was nice to finally have a brother, as much as I care about him though, "Ew gross!" I shoved Hunter off of me and he woke up clearly very confused. I laughed at his reaction but then he got up and smacked the back of my head. Hah jokes on him, it didn't even hurt...definitely.

I watched as Hunter sluggishly walked over to his sleeping bag he slept in and quickly fall back asleep. I let out a small sigh and shook my head. He is really lazy. I got up and noticed the small TV still on, I walked over it and unplugged the devices before I headed back upstairs.  Amity and Willow still seemed yo be asleep, Vee as well. I looked over to the alarm I have on tne nightstand by my bed, "6:38." I mumbled quietly.

It was still pretty early.

I looked over to my calendar, a certain day was marked in red, It was then that I felt a wave of guilt fill my stomach. I felt sick. I walked over to Amity and clung onto her. Not one of my best idea's, especially since her mattress was meant for one person, but I was cold. I felt my eyelids began to feel heavy, eventually letting myself get some sleep. I know I'll miss moments like these.

The smell of food woke me up and I sat up and noticed Amity was gone. A little sad, I got up and took some clothes to shower amd change into. Afterwards I went downstairs and saw as everybody was already eating waffles happily on the table, it was then I remembered what I did to them. How could they be so happy? How could they even stand being under the same roof as me? After what I did to them.

"Luz!"

Amity's voice brought me back to my senses and quickly I put on a smile. "Hey Ams, good morning," I gave her a soft smile before taking a seat next to her. It was then my mom called out to me and asked if I wanted waffles too but I shook my no and grabbed and apple from the fruit bowl instead, I didn't deserve to eat right now.

They talked about..cars? I'm not sure they know too much about them from what I was hearing. I let out a small laugh every now and then but as I finished the apple I excused myself. No one really noticed but I had some studying to do anyway. I put on some slides and went out by the abandoned cabin out back. I remembered back to when I first entered the portal then to the last time I went through it.

I missed King, I wonder how he's doing right now. I sat infont of the door for a bit, looking into the painted hootys eyes. Very creepy. I wanted to get them home but how? Suddenly I heard a certain red birds chirps from behind me. I turned around and saw as Flapjack continued to chirp and peck onto the floor boards, eventually he got closer to the door and started to peck on that. I was pretty confused now but I understood he wanted to go inside so I opened the door for him.

I guess that mustve been what the little guy wanted, he started to chirp happily which made me a smile a bit, but he still pecked the floor leaving little marks. I followed him until he stopped, he started pecking on a certain floor board causing it to break and form a whole.

"God Flapjack! Don't do that!" I felt bad for scolding him but the floorboard being gone now kinda annoyed me. "Sorry Flap, that was my bad." I apologized and gave him a. light pat on the head before  looking back to the damage the bird caused. "Whats that?" I saw something sticking out and quickly picked it up noticing that it was rolled up. It was a scroll? I opened it and read the contents of it, the puzzles were a little confusing and first but I did manage to get the message.

"Alrighttt! Thanks Flap, you have no idea how much this helps. Keep this a secret kay?" I smiled and gave him one last pat on the head before picking him up and going back inside with him.
