I entered Howdy's shop and waved at him, when he saw me, he instantly perked up. "Y/n!" He squealed, making laugh a little with his reaction. "Calm down caterpillar," I smiled, "I brought you something that I made for your lunch break."

He came from around the counter and looked at the bag happily. Attempting to grab the bag, "Na uh uh huh!~" I smiled, swiping the bag from his direction and into a different direction which made him huff angrily. "Oh come on!" He cried. "You know the rules, no eating it until break, promise?" I challenged, "No deal!"

"Alright, I guess you'll have to do without lunch~" I teased as pretend to leave with his food. "No you don't!" He huffed, blocking my exit. I smiled, kissing him on the forehead and placing his food in the fridge in the break room. "You know the rules, don't break them this time," I warmed him, he rolled his eyes.

"Excuse me," I said sternly, he rolled his eyes again.

"I can't help that everything you cook is good to the point i want it as soon as its brought up here," He whined as he crossed his arms. "Please spare me dear, It's a compliment," He tried to reason.

"Oh I know, I know, but seriously, try this time," I said, he sighed and smiled. "I'll try."

"Good, now I have to run some errands," I said, hugging him and giving him a small "boop" on his nose. "Alright, love you," He called out, waving goodbye.

I waited and watch him go back behind the counter and continue to read the newspaper. I smiled and walked off on my way.

"Ugh! Im so hungry!" Howdy complained as he entered the house and going over to the fridge. "Why are you so hungry?" I asked, "I dunno, I skipped break," He admitted. "I got busy the time I planned on taking the break so I missed it," He said. I facepalmed.

"Oh what can I say dear, I forgot, it happens sometimes," Howdy laughed, I sighed, not really knowing what to say.

"Relax~ I know you always have left overs from cooking too much," Howdy replied confidently, I laughed. "You know me too well," I replied. "You know it!" He smiled, giving me finger guns with a wink and "tsk!"

I laughed, I got up and went to the kitchen, grabbing the food from the fridge and sitting it on the counter. Howdy wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close to him with my hands on his chest. One finger of his lifted my chin to make me look up at him. "Your wonderful to me, you know that," He reminded, "Of course I do," I smiled, giving him a kiss on the nose with me having to get on my tippy toes.

"Good, now, let's taste test the food I missed for lunch," He stated, me still in his arms as he used his other free arm to get a finger full of my chicken pot pie. Taste testing, he smiled, "MGH! Delicious," Howdy stated. I blushed, "Oh please~" I replied, flattered. "It's true!"

"If you say so," I said, Howdy unwrapped his arms from around my waist. He grabbed a plate and prepared to reheat the food, placing the food in the microwave. "How was work?" I asked as food began to heat up. "Busy, obviously!" She smiled, laughing a little bit.

I nodded, smiling. The microwave beeped and he took out the food, beginning to eat. "It taste so much better while!" He yelled happily, making me smiles more than ever.
