Mitsuki, although surprised but held a hint of curiosity, glanced at Izuku who was awkwardly standing behind the drawers on their living room. Her eyes were a bit droopy, probably because she just got out from bed and was off to the bathroom. Though, not paying much mind to the latter displayed right in front, she still asked.

"Izuku? Why are you still up this late at night?" Mitsuki said while rubbing her eyes.

Kylin akwardly looked away, intensively trying to mutter out a reasonable reply. If he gets caught right now, this whole stupid thing would quickly crumble and he would be in big trouble.

He tried to look for things that could light up the bulb on his head, until coincidentally landing on the glasses of water in the sink. "I-I was getting thirsty." He tried to sound natural, but started off with a stutter, slowly walking towards the kitchen.

Luckily, Mitsuki didn't pay much attention before swiftly sauntering to the bathroom. Kylin couldn't help but let out a deep breath the moment Mitsuki closed the doors behind her. He was utterly happy that the lady didn't suspect anything, and he was even happier to think that he was quick enough to hide back all of the files and documents back on the drawer.

He pretended to go back to his room and waited until Mitsuki finishes up in the bathroom and returns to her bedroom. After thoroughly making sure this time that everyone was finally asleep, he went out again and started rummaging from pages to pages, solemnly processing the slightest information his head could take.

The night went by rather smoothly for the Bakugo family, except for Kylin. He didn't really sleep that much, seeing that he woke up faster than the clock hitting at 3:30am. He was being sentimental and abit realistic, staring high above the ceilings where a bunch of Allmight stickers was plastered, thinking to himself about the things he just learned about Izuku.

   Izuku Midoriya.

The name sounded so hollowing when he said it.

Izuku Midoriya was the only son of Inko Midoriya, who was an average woman. With an unknown father that left them when Izuku was still at his mother's wounds, Inko Midoriya was forced to raise him all by herself with little to no support from the father. However, when unfortunate events struck, the lone family was forced to break embrace from each other when the news was received that Inko Midoriya died on a terrible, unsuspecting incident. Izuku was devastated to say the least. With no more known parents to take care of him, Mitsuki Bakugo, a childhood friend of Inko, wholeheartedly brought Izuku to her home, adopting him later on.

With additional information, Izuku was diagnosed as quirkless after showing no vital signs of developing when he was still 4-years old. Unfortunately, late bloomer cases were roughly rare and if not, mostly impossible to expect of.

Kylin was amused to say the least. Oftentimes did he encounter quirkless people in his journey since they were scarce but not unseen of. According to World Wide Statistics, Japan only had around 4% percent of its population dubbed as quirkless. And seing just how much this Izuku suffered in his lifetime, his vision of conspicuous racism and maltreatment was directly correct.

Kylin sat on the side, looking around the room. He was getting bored and bored. Sleeping didn't really cross his mind that much and he would do anything else other than sleeping again. His eyes suddenly landed on the bedside table. He couldn't help but furrow his eyebrows. For him, general knowledge wasn't enough. He wanted to dig more about the life of Izuku, what he left behind, what he was like, and what his past experiences were.

A curious look suddenly formed on his face upon finding a bunch of notebooks sprawled inside the cabinets. As he reads the titles, he couldn't help but chuckle darkly.
