Temporary parents

Exhausted

A whole hour passes by and Luffy is sleeping on the ships floor, Otama is also laying next to him. Her head resting on his stomach and his head resting on the wall. The rest of the crew is doing their own thing. "Nami, Robin, here's some drinks to keep you both-" As Sanji gets ready to hand Nami who's walking towards the kitchen her drink, she accidentally bumps into him when he opened the door. Nami fell into Sanji causing him to fall as-well. He managed to save the drinks though. "Nami!!" Chopper runs towards the scene in case any of them got hurt. Due to all this ruckus Luffy slowly wakes up and opening a eye, but not moving yet. The only thing he saw was Namis hand rubbing the back of her head and Sanji apologizing. He quickly picked up Otama and put her on his back as he walked towards them.

"Is everything okay?" He asked. His eyes still slightly closing since he's so tired. "We're okay. I just bumped into him when we opened the door at the same time." Nami said. Luffy nods and looks at Sanji. He's curled in a ball rocking back and forth- "I'm a monster" repeating over and over. Until Nami smacks the back of his head. "Hey, it was nothing!" She says and smiles. She grabs her Piña colada and looks back at Luffy. "Have we got to the island yet?" He asks. Really what the entire crew needs is a good sleep after Wano, which is what they originally planned on.. "Hey.. HEY!" She snaps her fingers. "Your falling asleep mid sentence!go sleep in the queen beds in me and robins room, we probably won't be to a island till a few more hours." Luffy nods and sluggishly walks to the room, Otama still sleeping on his back. When he opens the door and plops on the bed, he immediately falls asleep with Tama resting on his chest.

Sanji wakes up from his depressive state and goes back to reality, "Did you just send Luffy to sleep in the womens quarters.. seriously? Why not me..?" - "it's obvious he was delirious. It's more comfortable to sleep on a REAL mattress instead of some hanging nets. I seriously don't even get how you guys sleep on those." Nami walks away to sit back next to Robin and hands her her drink. Nami places hers down to sunbathe some more and robin is sipping hers while reading her favorite book. Luffy and Zoro are both asleep, Everyone else was awake. "So, how far do you think until we reach the island on the Log Pose?" Robin asks "Estimated another 2 or 3 hours. We aren't as far as I thought." Robin nods and continues reading, Nami decides to close her eyes and relax.
Two hours later

While Luffy is sleeping peacefully in the girl's room, Otama slowly wakes up and walks off the bed. Before she could open the door, Nami opens it first. "Oh! Otama, I didn't see you there." She smiles. Otama smiles and walks out the room, but hiding near the door outside.
Nami pats on Luffys chest a few times for him to wake up "We got to the island, wake up!" Her voice brings him to wake up. His eyes slowly open and sees her hand on his chest. Her orange long hair is tied into a ponytail, shes wearing white shorts and her signature blue bikini top. Luffy slowly rises up and rubs his eye. Usually when Luffy hears the word Island he immediately runs on deck, it was surprising for Nami to not see him act like that, in a way she thought it was cute.

"Okay!" He says, gathering his energy and walks off the bed and outside the room. Otama sees him walk out and follows him, Nami stays to tidy up the girls room. A glance at her log pose and to the sea before closing the door. The island is in view, they're almost there!

"Has anyone called Sukiyaki yet to get tama?" Luffy asks. "No, we decided to wait until we arrive there." Robin says. Luffy nods and throws her the transponder snail that's been in his shorts pocket since. "Make sure to!"
