Ben was currently walking down the hallway back to his class as his mind was elsewhere, soon footsteps were heard behind him as Yaoyorozu appears next to him.
Yaoyorozu: I know.
Ben: Know what?
Yaoyorozu: I know you weren't fighting me at your full power, if you were then the fight would've been done before it even started. You said that you wanted to give me a chance to win, right?
Ben looked away embarrassed that she called him out again.
Yaoyorozu: I'm not upset that you held back, and I'm flattered that you atleast attempted to make it a fair fight. You held back with Kendo, didn't you?
Ben: No, I fought her in my normal form as a show of respect and growth since we're family.... But...
Ben looked down as his eyes saddened upon continuing, Yaoyorozu notices this as stares at him with concern as the two stopped in the hall.
Ben: I'm dealing with some stuff recently, It's hard to explain.... I'm sorry I held back on you. I should've went all out, please forgive me.
Ben bows apologetically as Yaoyorozu quickly shaked her head.
Yaoyorozu: O-oh no! You really don't have to apologize, Tennyson. I understand that strain on the mind can cause one to make decisions based on that. Besides I should be thanking you, I'm not entirely sure that I could've stood a chance against Todoroki if I would've won.
The sadness in Ben's eyes disappeared as it was replaced with a stern expression as Ben stopped bowing and faced away from Yaoyorozu.
Yaoyorozu: Tennyson? Are you okay?
Ben: ...Yeah, C'mon let's get back to our classmates.
The two continued walking as they finally meet their destination, with their classmates praising them.
Jiro: You guys were really going at it, I was honestly at the edge of my seat.
Shoji: How'd you learn to make things like that from your body?
Ben: Oh, Diamondhead can create various amounts of weaponry. It's almost like Yaoyorozu's creation but I'm very limited to only blades and shields.
Kirishima: Ah C'mon bro! That's still pretty cool, you're almost like a knight!
Kirishima grabbed Ben by the shoulder, being him over to the seat next to him. Upon sitting down he realized that Mina wasn't there, and neither was Iida.
Ben: Hey Uraraka, Midoriya? They leave already?
Midoriya: Huh? Oh yeah! They wanted a few moments to prepare for their fight.
Uraraka: Yeah! I'm honestly interested in seeing how this one will go.
Suddenly his wishes were answered as Present Mic announced the next match, as Iida and Mina are seen standing on their opposite sides. Ben's emotions seemed to have calmed down a bit after thinking about Mina's fight.
Present Mic: And now we are at the third match of the second round! He's a certified boy-scout with engines in his legs, Class 1A's Tenya Iida!
