Saying goodbye to your loved ones is the hardest thing ever, I thought as I laid back in the Boeing 747's seat.
It was the first time I had ever been away from my family, but what can I do I need to go to university, get a degree, then a job so that I can settle and make myself independent.
Still it isn't goodbye for real as I will be having video chats with my family through Skype and stuff.
"Sir, would you like some drink?" An air hostess came up to me and asked.
"Yes, please I would like some Coke" I replied and smiled. She smiled back and went to get my drink.
I closed my eyes and wished that this awful feeling, like a hole in my gut would disappear.I couldn't believe that I was already feeling homesick.
The air hostess brought me a glass of soda and I sipped it gratefully.
After finishing my drink I dozed off for a while.
I woke up after a while to the sound of pilot through loudspeakers telling us that the plane would be shortly landing at the airport so we were asked to fasten our seat belts.I did so and braced myself for the landing.
The plane bumped a bit but eventually ran smoothly over the runway coming to a stop at the far end of the runway.
The pilot guided the plane into the hanger and us passengers stepped out from the door to open sunlight.
