Suddenly, a voice pierced through the tension-filled air. "Blade, what are you doing?"
It was Caelus, his grey hair shimmering in the moonlight as he stepped closer to the two immortals.
Blade's grip on DanHeng's wrist loosened, and he looked up to see Caelus standing over him. He felt a mix of shame and anger, unsure of what had possessed him to act so violently.
"Get away from him," Caelus spoke up, his voice firm but controlled. "You're scaring him, Blade. This isn't the way to handle things."
Blade hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. But then he saw the fear in DanHeng's eyes, and he knew he had to back down.
Slowly, he released DanHeng's wrist and stood up, ''You...stole him from me...''
he said very low and in a verry quiet voice.
There was dead silence for a while, but then Blade said''He is mine...he promised me he will have me and only me in his heart...''
Caelus sighed, not knowing what to say. Looking at the two immortals, he saw that DanHeng was lost for words, his eyes wide with shock and disbelief.
''Let him go now Blade-''Caelus was stopped in the middle of talking...
"What a touching moment Bladie" a teasing voice drawled out from the the dark...
