Goodbye isn't forever

I don't tell you my love
That's already known
So I won't waste my last breaths on such words.
I tell you
To be brave
To embrace your body
To love innumerable and valiant
Never feel ashamed of who you are
To learn from the past and continue a new chapter.

As I lay here
And hear you call out
To a soul that isn't there
But a soul less body,

To let go of "I love you"
